From and to the Heavens

- * Aiko only has a fraction of a second to do something against Leo's preparing strike. He brings the punch down upon her. She teleports his fist to hit his face but then he teleports it back to hit her on the back of the head. Again, she teleports it back to him. Their volley of teleportation goes on and on in a single second until they glow very bright like a star. The one who loses takes the blow. It just so happens that Leo has infinite stamina compared to her. She runs out and takes the fist in the stomach, sending her crashing through the glass wall. It collapses with its parts shining like morning showers. He flies there unscathed, looking at what he has done. He is not satisfied nor he is guilty. Then he takes the red lightning from the sky. A barrage of punches hits him everywhere. He gets knocked away for a few feet then lightning strikes at his back. His whole body is twitching because of the electricity. The two fastest goddesses witness how strange he is. “Are you yourself right now, Leonide?” asks Eleanna. She is calm, unlike Aurelia with her glowing red electric arcs and eyes. His eyes come looking from the ground below then up straight, showing him his grey emotionless eyes. One could get sick of this sight. Although plain in appearance, it is very disturbing. Like giving off the hard-to-imagine-nothingness. No one could imagine what it is like. He also notices that the defeated young warriors have been recovered. They are not found lying on the ground anymore and put somewhere safe. “I guess not,” says Eleanna, nodding to Aurelia. “take him down.” “ARGH!!!” she cries, channeling her powers. The sky erupts with million volts of lightning as well as from the ground. She sends it all to him. The noise the bolts of lightning make is so loud that can burst eardrums. They chase him but he suddenly gains speed as fast as both of them. He dodges the bolts of lightning easily. This alarms Eleanna as she can see that he is not holding any relics that belong to fast deities. She decides to finish him with her own fists. She and Aurelia charge to fight him at equal speeds. All he could do is retreat and protect himself from the strikes the goddesses send to him. When Eleanna is about to punch him in the face, he makes a portal that will make her punch Aurelia. It did not work for someone as clever as Eleanna. She intentionally misses the portal, spins, and kicks his body at a ridiculous speed. As he gets knocked away, Aurelia punishes him with series of electrified punches. His impact on the ground creates a long ridge. Lying down half-buried in the rubble, his eyes are unblinking in the midst of dusty air. He can see through it and see the vastness of space. A second later he lifts himself upwards with his power. The goddesses are ready for another round of high-speed beating. With a cold but clear voice, he says, “Power of the Universe, lend me your Power.” In the goddesses' slow perception of time, he moves very fast unlike what they can do. They could not do anything to stop him. He takes both of them down with a single punch each in their guts. His strikes are so powerful that they become incapacitated. “Ugh!!” coughs Eleanna, kneeling on the ground. Her mouth is full of blood. Aurelia has the same condition as her. “You're gonna pay for that, Leo!!” Aurelia screams beside her. “What is this power?” Eleanna asks.“How did he-” He appears in front of them to finish them off. There is no way to run from him. Then a dense aura distracts him. Eleanna and Aurelia run away, limping. He lets them be and stands up straight, looking at the sky above him. His eyes widen a little as he realizes it is someone very powerful. While running away, Aurelia's smile gets brighter than what her lightning can manage. “It couldn't be!” she says in disbelief. “Is this-” “Enzo,” says Aiko, being taken care of by Santos. She is on a stretcher while he uses bandages to wrap her wounds. “You're right!” he exclaims. “It ‘is’ him!” The rest of the people cheer because they too can feel the great demigod coming down from the sky. They are inside the temporary shelter on the surface. It is nothing but a spacious warehouse. The space itself is not enough to contain the swelling hope from the people. Even Mila is smiling as she lies down with her eyes closed. Up above, Enzo's sight is piercing through the clouds. He is not surprised about his student's loss of control. The air is forming plasma around him, making him look like a meteor that is about to hit the Earth. “This has happened before, right?” he asks himself. Then he narrows his eyes, “But this time it's different. He is stronger for a bit. Fist of Fifteen:” “Fist of Twenty:” Leo prepares. “Punch from the Heavens.” “Punch to the Heavens.” Their punches clash. As if two moons collided at this side of the Earth. The air became so hot that it created plasma—the same as what happens in nuclear bombs. The ground shakes, spreading miles across the land and even reaching the sea to the south. Panicking fills the temporary shelter the people of Asgard and Olympus are staying in. All the while, Sayuri and her comrades witness everything from the distance even back to the time of the first fight. Jasper is laughing in excitement. He has been like this for a long time, seeing Leo beat them all of them. His hype inflates even more, now that Enzo arrives on Earth and because of the explosion that just happened. Hiroki notices that Sayuri is looking carefully just as Enzo arrived. She is interested. “Here we go,” says Hyun. “This fight is nearing its end.” “That would be boring!” shouts Jasper. “I want to see some more action!” “This isn't a movie, you know,” says Hiroki. “That makes it even better!” “I can't believe you,” he says as he shakes his head. “I hate him,” says Prisha, folding her arms and looking away. “Enzo?” asks Hiroki beside her. “Yes.” “Why?” “He always destroys the armor I design for him. I always have to design new ones with a lot of improvements all the time. It's not the enemy that destroys them but him.” “O… kay…” Then Philip speaks out: “He's powerful and all but is he gonna be fine fighting Leo? Leo has pretty much everything he needs to beat him.” “That's what you think,” says Jasper, looking above his shoulder and smirking. Enzo finally lands in the crater with Leo in the middle. He dusts off his armor with his hand. The snow and ashes stop falling because the clouds have been cleared up after the explosive entry. He is calm as Leo. None of them are afraid of each other. “This isn't Zol this time, is it?” asks Enzo. “I am no one.” “Is that so? Okay, let's see what you've got.” He unsheathes his swords and starts to walk towards him. Leo stays on his ground, saying, “You shouldn't have existed today. And I can't see you in the future.” “Oh, am I? What about it?” “You defied the Law of the Universe. I shall put you back into your right fate.” Enzo stops in front of him and says, “And are you supposed to be its ‘Law Enforcer’?” “To put it in that way, yes.” “So, I'm a criminal?” “Indeed, you are.” “Shall we play cops and robbers then?” “This is-” Enzo throws his left sword. Leo stops it with his power but he could not. Enzo appears in front of him. Bursting into a very fast speed, he outflanks Enzo. His fist goes through Enzo's back, impaling him but he turns into a mirage. “I'm behind you,” he says. Just as Leo turns his head, Enzo flicks him in the forehead. It powerful but does not hurt him. Leo looks at him slightly confused. “Oh, that's what you mean,” Enzo realizes. “You can't see me in the future, as well as you can't track me with your senses. Well, then… guess what I'm going to do next.” He bends his knee slightly and grabs the hilts of his swords while they are in their sheaths. From afar, Sayuri widens her eyes, curious about what he is about to do. Leo did not give him a chance to prepare and bursts into an explosive speed. In his slow perception of time, other than that “Enzo” he is heading towards, he sees another Enzo at the far right. He figures out that the one in the middle is a mirage. The one in the front disappears so he is right in deciding to change course and charge at the real Enzo at the right. But then, he trips forward. He is suddenly unable to move his legs. Enzo is behind him and the one he decided to pursue was the mirage all that time. Standing straight and sheathing his swords, Enzo turns around and looks at Leo on the ground. “I will... have the chance... to correct this Universe...,” he says pointing at Enzo. “starting... with you.” “I'll be looking forward to it,” he nods. That is when Leo falls unconscious. His hair returns to normal as well as his presence. Enzo picks up the little boy. “What… was… that?” asks Hiroki in awe. Sayuri realizes that she looks surprised so she stirs, returning to her usual frown. “It's the same technique you're using, my lady,” says Hiroki to her. “A slice not too shallow and not too deep,” she speaks and walks away, leaving his comrades deep in thought. She returns to their shelter. Hiroki stirs, “So, this is how powerful Enzo is? He took out Leonide in a matter of seconds! And how can he exist in two places?!” “Believe me when I say,” says Hyun. “that isn't even his full power. There's more in him that we never have seen yet.” “And as for his doppelganger,” says Jasper, putting his arms around Philip. “is an advanced application of Dimensional Touch. He can exist in many places at the same time.” “That sounds complicated,” Philip remarks. “It is. Even I don't get how they do it.” “He's not wearing any armor on,” says Prisha. She is upset. “are my designs that bad for his standards?” “Don't worry,” says Hiroki. “A lot of people benefited from your designs.” “I know but not all. It infuriates me thinking about it!” “Alright, and I think we should go back into hiding before someone spots us.” Jasper smirks when saying, “Do that, in the meantime, I have something to check out.” In the field, Enzo is carrying Leo in his arms and waits for certain someone from the sky. Danae comes down and looks at the boy. “He's fine,” she says. “All he needs is rest.” He nods. “And we might have to check everybody else as soon as possible. Also, your sisters might be injured.” She swallows thinking about it. Concern and eagerness to embrace her sisters are mixing up inside her chest. It makes her breathe a little faster. “Alright, let's go to them,” she says, controlling icy water under them to travel faster. * -
