Cole I stormed out of the building, even more frustrated than when I had first entered. The Charter House had been an utter bust. The run-down house was completely empty and it looked as if even the rats had given up on the place and had moved out, leaving the shabby building to spiders and the ghosts of the past. The bar seemed like the next logical place. Typically bars had lots of people going in and out, most of them completely inebriated. It wouldn't have seemed strange for the owner to carry an unconscious girl through the doors - people would just think she couldn't hold her liquor and that good old Bandit was making her lie down and recover before sending her off on her way.
