Standing in front of my father's pack, with a huge lump in my throat. This was it, I was leaving. Leaving and joining Alec's pack to become their Luna. My sweet friend Liliana walked over to me, a feeling of excitement and sadness running through me. I could smell Alec's scent as he walked up to me, standing behind me, his hand on my back, while his beta Gabriel stood beside him. Liliana placed a gentle hand on my shoulder. We didn't speak any words as both of us knew if we did. Tears would fall, her beautiful blonde hair was in a messy bun, her small nose was red with sadness, "Embrace this new life. We will miss you but we will visit you soon." She said before tears fell from her eyes. I couldn't help but shake my head as a few tears fell from my eyes, I hugged her close to me. I was holding on for as long as I could. "Thank you, thank you for being the most amazing friend I could ever ask for. Please look after him for me." We pulled away from the hug. A few seconds later, Liliana's lips formed into a soft and small smile. "We are best friends, that's what we do, and of course I will. I will make sure Michael and I keep an eye on him." Smiling, I felt my father walk up behind me, turning around to him. He stood tall and proud, once again wearing his blue suit. Unshed tears glistened in his eyes as well before he clasped my hand in his. His rough fingertips brushed against my skin. "Alison, my dear Alison," He spoke. He took a deep breath as a tear managed to slip from his eye. But his voice was filled with pride and sorrow, "You are embarking on a new journey. A journey that will shape you into what your mother and I always thought. She will be so proud of you. I will miss you every day, but I know this is where you truly belong. The moon goddess blessed you with the best pack, not to mention she blessed me with an amazing daughter." A lump formed in my throat once again as I held back the tears threatening to escape. "Thank you, Father, for everything you have taught me. I will make you proud." My father pulled me into his warm embrace. I held him close, knowing this would be the first time I won't see him for a while. "You have already made me proud, I love you so much, my dear." I felt his fatherly lips on my hair before I looked up at him. He tried to he strong because he had to, but I knew when he would be alone. He will cry. We separated from our hug. A few members of my father's pack began to gather around, each expressing their goodbyes, some offered encouraging words, others bestowed heartfelt blessings, but all carried a sense of love and support. I felt their presence, their energy, wrapping around me, providing me with strength for the journey ahead. I took a deep breath as I turned around, seeing Alec awaiting me. Luna stepped forward, holding a small leather-bound journal."Alison, take this with you. It belonged to your mother. She wrote down her thoughts, her hopes, and her dreams. Maybe, in her words, you will find the guidance you seek." I took the journal in my hands, running my fingers along its worn edges. "Thank you, Liliana. I will treasure it." Alec walked up beside me as his hand slipped around my waist. His gaze is gentle and reassuring, "Are you ready?" I nodded, a mix of anticipation and nerves swirling within me. "Yes, I'm ready." With a final glance back at the pack that had been my home for as long as I could remember, I took Alec's hand in mine. His touch was warm and grounding, a symbol of the new life that awaited us in Crescent Moon. Together, we walked away from the only life I had ever known, leaving behind my past and stepping into an uncertain future. As we vanished into the forest, I could feel the strength of the pack and the love of my father guiding my every step. I let a stray tear fall from my eye, a tear that symbolized the end of one chapter and the beginning of a new one. And though it pained me to say goodbye, I knew deep in my heart that this was the path I was meant to walk. โšœ๏ธโšœ๏ธโšœ๏ธโšœ๏ธ As we approached the outskirts of Crescent Moom, anticipation coursed through my veins like a wildfire. The Crescent Moon pack had always held an air of mystery, their reputation preceding them like whispers on the wind. Tales of their strength and dominance had reached my ears, painting a grim picture of a pack ruled by fear and tyranny. But as the landscape shifted and the comforting scent of pine filled the air, I couldn't help but feel that those rumours had been twisted and distorted. Alec's hand tightened around mine, offering a silent reassurance as we entered through the towering archway that marked the entrance to Moon Valley. The pack members that lined the path to the main courtyard had a warmth in their eyes that contradicted the tales I'd heard. They greeted us with smiles and nods, recognizing the authority that Alec possessed as the Alpha. As we continued further into the pack, I caught sight of Richard, the scout leader. With his rugged appearance and a knowing glint in his eyes, he exuded an air of wisdom that demanded respect. I couldn't help but approach him, curiosity tugging at my soul. "Hello," I greeted, my voice laced with a mix of nerves and excitement. "I'm Alison Gracelyn." Richard's eyes crinkled with a friendly smile. "Ah, the young witch and wolf. We've been expecting you. Welcome to Crescent Moon, Alison." But as our eyes met, a sharp pain shot through my head, causing me to wince and clutch my temple. The sudden intensity of the headache took me by surprise, making me struggle to stay upright. Alec, ever so attentive, rushed to my side. "Alison, what's wrong? Are you okay?" I tried to speak to explain the searing pain that threatened to overwhelm me, but words escaped me. Instead, my vision blurred, and I felt myself falling into an abyss of darkness. When I regained consciousness, I found myself in Alec's comforting embrace. His arms encircled me, holding me close as I gasped for breath, trying to ground myself once more. "It's alright, Alison," Alec whispered softly, his voice a balm to my wounded soul. "You're safe. Breathe with me." Together, we took deep, steady breaths, our hearts beating as one. Gradually, the panic subsided, giving way to a sense of calm that washed over me like a gentle caress. "What happened?" I murmured, the words barely a whisper. Alec's grip tightened ever so slightly. "I'm not sure, love. But we'll figure it out. I promise." As I looked around, the pack members had gathered around us, their faces etched with concern and curiosity. Gabriel stood stoically at the edge, his piercing grey eyes searching for any sign of danger. Rachel, my ever-present confidante, stood beside him, her expression a mix of worry and determination. As my gaze met Rachel's, she stepped forward, her voice filled with gentle compassion. "Alison, what did you see? What caused your vision?" I hesitated, reluctance playing in my voice. "I...I saw someone... someone being hurt. I felt their pain, their fear. It was... overwhelming." Rachel's eyes widened with understanding, her features softening with empathy. "Visions can be powerful, Alison. Sometimes, they offer us glimpses into the future or warnings of danger. We must learn to navigate them with care and find the balance within ourselves." Her words resonated deep within me, and I nodded, determination coursing through my veins. I would rise above this, embrace my powers, and protect those I cared for.
