The next day arrived with the promise of both excitement and apprehension. Walking into the study of Ethan, Alison's father. The room was adorned with polished oak furniture and towering bookshelves that held centuries of knowledge. Beams of soft sunlight penetrated the window, casting a warm glow upon the room. The air was tinged with the scent of aged parchment and the faint remnants of a smouldering fireplace. My broad shoulders tense as I could sense Ethan in front of me. Although I was an Alpha of my own pack. I was taking away someone's daughter, an Alphas daughter, to be honest. I took a deep breath as I stared at the man in front of me. He stood around 5'9, his salt and pepper hair was neatly combed at the top of his head, he wore a dark black suit and his blue eyes looked down at his daughter, Alison whom stood next to him. He looked concerned, sad even. "Alpha Boardwin," Ethan began, his tone steady yet tinged with a hint of scepticism. "I must admit, this sudden revelation of Alison being your mate has taken me by surprise. She is my only daughter, and her safety and happiness are of utmost importance to me." Clearing my throat as I gazed towards Ethan, "I understand your concern. Alpha Ethan. I assure you that I will do everything in my power to protect and cherish her. Not to mention that my pack would love her. As Luna of Crescent Moon, she will be surrounded by loyal and devoted pack members, who will do anything to protect her from harm. Their love will shine for her." Ethan cleared his throat before his eyes fixed on mine. He needed to make sure I was telling the truth. Satisfied at what he had seen and heart, he nodded his head. "Very well," he said, his voice heavy with gravitas. "In that case, we must discuss the details. How will Alison's transition to the Crescent Moon unfold, and what arrangements need to be made?" I glanced out the window, my gaze distant, as I contemplated the path ahead. "Alison will need time to pack her belongings and say her goodbyes," I explained, a touch of melancholy lacing my words. "I will send a pack convoy to escort her safely to the Crescent Moon. Once there, she will be officially introduced as the Luna." Ethan's brows furrowed, betraying the reluctance that clung to his heart. "I understand the necessity of her move, but I worry about her leaving our pack and everything she knows behind. She is cherished here, Alec, and we have all become her family." My voice softened, my concern mirroring Ethan's. "I understand your worry, Ethan, but I promise you that she will be cherished and protected within the Crescent Moon. She will blossom into her true potential and find her place as the Luna, a symbol of strength and unity." Ethan sighed, his shoulders relaxing as he grappled with his conflicting emotions. "Alison has always been strong-willed and eager to embrace her dual nature. I suppose it is time for her to spread her wings and soar." I nodded, gratitude evident in my emerald eyes. "I appreciate your trust, Ethan. I assure you that I will always prioritize Alison's happiness and safety. Together, we will build a future that honours both her heritage and the pack's legacy." As the conversation drew to a close, the weight of their pact settled upon them. I could sense the weight of responsibility that Ethan felt, the resignation and hope mingling in his gaze. The bond between us, two powerful Alphas, one a father and the other a mate, forged in the crucible of love and protectiveness. Ethan and I shook hands, our grips firm and unyielding, as a shared understanding passed between them. Later that afternoon, Ethan and I sat Alison down in the cozy living room of Ethan's cottage. Sunlight streamed in through the open windows, casting a warm glow on the worn wooden furniture. Alison looked at them expectantly, her eyes filled with a mix of curiosity and trepidation. Ethan took a deep breath, his weathered hands clasping tightly together. "Alison, my dear," he began, his voice filled with paternal love and concern, "there is something important we need to discuss. As you know, Alec has found his mate in you, and with that comes a significant change in your life." Alison's heart raced as she listened intently. She knew that becoming my mate would bring new responsibilities, but she was willing to embrace whatever lay ahead. I leaned forward, my intense green gaze locked onto hers. "Alison, you must move to Crescent Moon, where our pack resides. There, you will become the Luna of the pack." Alison's eyes widened in surprise. Crescent Moon was known for its unity, strength, and unyielding loyalty. Ethan continued, his voice filled with pride. "You'll have a support system in Crescent Moon, Alison. Rachel Sunmers, their pack's healer, will guide you through this transition. She possesses deep knowledge of our traditions, and she'll help you navigate your dual heritage as both witch and wolf." Alison's mind buzzed with a mixture of excitement and apprehension. She had always felt a sense of belonging within the pack, but Crescent Moon held untold possibilities and a deeper understanding of her powers. My voice filled the room, warm and reassuring. "Rachel is a kind, wise woman who will become an invaluable mentor to you, Alison. She can teach you how to balance your magical abilities with the instincts and strength of a wolf, helping you unlock your full potential." Alison swallowed, her thoughts racing. She had long yearned for guidance in understanding and embracing her heritage. Rachel presence offered her the chance to grow stronger and learn more about her unique abilities, both as a witch and a wolf. Ethan reached out, placing a gentle hand on Alison's trembling one. "My dear, we understand this is a lot to take in. But remember, you have grown up in a powerful lineage. You are resilient, and I have no doubt that you will flourish in this new chapter of your life." Alison's eyes filled with gratitude as she looked into Ethan's wise gaze. She knew that leaving her familiar surroundings would be difficult, but it was the path she had been waiting for, the opportunity to fully embrace her dual nature and become the person she was always meant to be. With determination blooming in her chest, Alison nodded. "I'm ready," she said softly, her voice filled with conviction. "I'm ready to become Luna of the Crescent Moom pack and to learn all that Rachel can teach me." My eyes sparkled with pride and longing as he wrapped my arm around Alison's shoulders, pulling her closer. "I believe in you, Alison. Together, we will navigate this new world. The pack, Rachel, and I will be by your side every step of the way."
