Lucan's POV
" We awake your next visit alpha." Alpha Derrick and his happy members bid me goodbye as I climbed my private jet.
They all kept waving untill my flight kicks off, I slumped into my seat tiredly and closed my eyes to rest. These past few days has been draining and stressful. This is one of the reasons I'm considering quiting my work at the council. Apart from having to be away from my own pack for days sometimes it drains me. Having to resolve a dispute between two or more packs without using my fist is suffocating.
While on duty as a council member settling disputes I'm expected to act as a typical peace maker negotiating peace to both parties, however most times I would say "f**k the rules", and I would do it my way which has always proved to be the most effective way.
