"He has been by your bedside for the past five days," Jane's words kept repeating in my head continuously.
After Lucan was put into a bed and taken care of by the medical team, Jane arrived with a face full of smiles. She was genuinely happy to see me awake and this time I could feel her sincerity and it warmed my heart. Seeing her care for me for, giving me water and some liquid foods made my eyes water.
