In a dark green-painted office-like room, four holographic figures and a man with a little girl on his lap sat at a glass, systematic table.

A Male voice spoke up, “Hmmm, we have quite a lot of hunting requests on territory raiding this season, and quite a lot of rookies signing up to hunt this season.

Another voice replied, “Beast crystal and resources gotten from dungeon raid and territory raid are really valuable, and the salary paid to protect city from Beast attack all so a city doesn’t fall Is enough to set someone at the top.”

A female voice added, Even if it's a dangerous task those brave enough with a strong will would all want to climb to the top.”

“Demons have been more active over the last few months” another hologram spoke this time a male voice.

“Regions with fewer hunters defending them are requesting for hunters to protect and assist them from beasts attacks,

“Daddy, I want to be a hunter one day just like you and chase demons away?” the little girl sitting on a man's lap said excitedly.

That's my girl he patted her on the head and gave her a warming smile.

“Gyato, why did you bring your daughter to this meeting? Couldn’t you

leave her with a nurse or an attendant at home?” one of the hologram with spiky hair spoke up.

“No, I don’t want to leave Daddy. I don’t need anyone,” she pouted.

On of the hologram with a low-toned voice said.

And then the hologram projectors of the figures were deactivated.

A crashing explosion echoed from the center of the hall.

“Fire blazed in the sky.

The both heard a loud roar looking from direction it came from.

A two headed dragon with shiny black scales, huge wings.

Bloodlust radiated from the creature, sending the crowd into panic.

hunters that are unable to handle the bloodlust and terror emitting from the beast screamed and ran for their lives other's froze dead, unable to move.

The dragon swiped its tail, and a gust of wind sliced anyone too close, killing those close to it instantly.

Sil felt terror and fear only from the mare sight of the dragon presence and once the dragon roared again he wasted no time to run away.

Reaching the front entrance, pain struck him—he didn’t know if miles had escaped. He turned back and made a foolish decision he never thought of for a long time and decided to go back to look for miles on where they last stood together.

He fought through the fleeing crowd.

He spotted Miles lying on the ground unconscious.

The bloodlust must have knock him unconscious too. He ran forward to grab him.

Instantly sil felt the dragon’s bloodlust wash over him. “What… is this? I can’t move!” he thought.

Panic surged.

Sil’s chest tightened. Every instinct screamed at him to run—but his feet refused to move.

Some hunters and attack Bot were using their abilities and energy blast to distract the dragon, drawing its attention away from the crowd.

One head of the dragon opened slightly, exhaling a faint green fog. The gas spread through the hall. A hunter fired at it, and everyone took cover.

Then the dragon stood still, as if waiting for something. Its chest glowed, and the other head unleashed a massive flame that engulfed half the hall, killing alot of hunters and destroying attack bots instantly.

Sil’s heart sank. “It… killed them all in an instant.

I have to get Miles and get out of here.

The dragon roared.

Sil’s legs shook. The dragon was even more terrifying as it start to take steps.

It repeated its attack—breathing gas and flames, burning hunters who ran and those who were frozen in fear.

Suddenly, a green object tore through the air, slamming into the dragon’s chest. The impact was massive.

It drove the beast backward, skidding across the hall and straight into an active teleporter.

Before the dragon could recover it's footing it was shoved through the teleporter, vanishing in a flash of light to the other side of the teleport.

A violent gust of wind rushed past Sil from behind.

In the very next moment, a figure clad in green armor stood before him.

What just happened?

I can move again.

The pressure is gone.

Without hesitation. the armored figure sprinted forward and dash into the same teleporter the dragon had been forced into in a flash, disappearing just as suddenly.

“Dr. Gyato,” Stella said sharply.

On the other side, the world shifted. Gyato emerged into a land overflowing with greenery: towering trees, tangled vines, and vast stretches of swamp.
