74 Claire was rooted into her spot, her heart picking up crazy speed. She didn't try to hide the color whipping into her cheeks or how her breathing doubled. She crossed her hands on her chest and stared at him. The back of her eyes were dry. She was thankful. She had shed more tears on this man compared to what he deserved. She focused on his face.
