Elana. I woke up this morning feeling enthusiastic. My beautiful daughter had woken up before me and helped herself to a wonderful meal of red-dyed hair. “Oh no, Selanene!” I whined as I gently pulled my hair out of her mouth. It was soggy and drenched in her spit. I got up from bed and rushed to the bathroom to wash it off. I was drying my hair up with a towel when I heard a loud thud followed by wailing. Oh no… I rushed out of the bathroom and saw Selanene on the fluffy rug, she was wrapped in the duvet. I got her out of it and rocked her on my shoulders to stop her from crying. “Ohhh my sweet girl I’m so sorry. Mummy is sorry,” I said in a baby voice.
