I woke up in the strong arms of Alex. Yesterday was an emotional roller coaster of a day.
Everything happened so fast. Too fast. Felt like a dream even.
I slowly unwrapped myself from Alex’s arms, he was fast asleep. I got up from the bed and immediately fell back.
I was slapped with an extremely strong headache and I winced in pain. “What is it? Did I hurt you?” Alex jerked up from his sleep.
“No, no you didn’t hurt me. It’s just a headache,” I said. Alex scrunched up his face and I was confused at first but then noticed how close our faces were.
I remembered how much I had to drink yesterday and how bad my breath must have reeked. “Sorry,” I blushed as I turned my head the other way and got up.
