Chapter 27 Curled up on the love seat under a cotton blanket, a few minutes after three o'clock in the morning, Gustavo listened to the whirring fan above him in the parlor. It was ricketier than it should have been, bobbing as it spun, ready to drop from the ceiling and slice through anyone in its path.
