The confrontation is a violent one. The g**g of interlopers, hiding discreetly amongst the ordinary citizenry, move in undetected by the church guards. Stealthily they climb the wall ladders and, attacking from behind, pick them off like sitting ducks, rendering each one impotent or dead. Swiftly they rush the church and overtake the entire Council. Bianca is their target and the secret cache of sacred crystals is the treasure they hunt.
“I will never tell you anything,” Bianca vows. “No matter what you do to me.”
“Not even if we kill every member of your precious Council?”
“Don"t give in, Bianca.” They all stand united behind her. “Better to die than to live under tyranny.”
“No one will die while I have a breath in my body,” Bianca declares.
