Lucia PoV

How did I end up here, with this gorgeous man, alone in a bedroom, on all four facing his d**k and the need to taste him? I had never done anything remotely close to this, but even when hidden behind a mask he had an immense effect on me. I looked with rapt attention at how a bead gathered at the end of his c*ck. Nathaniel Pov

The feeling of being inside of her is incredible. I hadn’t once considered the possibility of me knotting her, not that anything would come of that, since she was neither a werewolf nor my mate, but something about her made me want to stay. I had not considered my mate, but this time, together with this one I decided she was the one I chose, anything else would come later.

After a while, I dozed off myself. I felt like I had just shut my eyes before I heard my gamma Vincent through the pack link “We are under attack, rouges! "we need you by our side alpha.” I swore to myself, looking down at her whilst I considered if she would sleep until I came back, I was considering to wake her up, when I felt a link break – meaning someone had lost their lives, I needed to go immediately, when my c*ck deflated finally I kissed her chin, and I loved how she subconsciously turned towards me in her sleep. “I'll be back doll, stay here and sleep tight, you will be mine always.” I whispered.

I was out the door in a matter of seconds and I felt the change inside me when my wolf came forth. When I was fully turned I was about the same size as a big working horse. I ran towards my beta, considering what caused the rouges to attack now. The stench hit me before the view, and when I found the others, the rouges were almost dealt with except a couple of them.

I turned towards them, my alpha power emanating from me made them shiver.

“Why have you come here? answer me and I will consider giving you sanctuary. I will….” That’s all I said before they looked at each other before they tore out each other’s hearts.

Vincent came over shaking his head, “What on earth just happened, and why did it take so long?” he asked.

“Well to answer your question, I really have no idea what happened, but I am sure they were commanded to not talk. We will have to look into that, because if that is the case, somebody is controlling the rouges.

As for why I was late, it's my business, but let's just say I was incapable of getting here sooner.”

His eyes widened in surprise. “What do you mean, did you meet your mate? Do we finally have a Luna alpha?” he asked, and I snarled at him.

“SHUT up, that is none of your business, and please talk with respect. You are my gamma after all.” He just smirked “as you wish alpha.” He said, and we started to clean up the mess after the encounter. There were a lot of d**d rogues. One of my worriers did not survive, which accounted for the pack link breaking. He was unmated, but he was still someones kid, and it hurt to know I was now about to inform his parents and loved ones that he had not made it.

But first I needed to return to my mystery woman and get her details so I could reach her again.

I made my way back to the room, where our scent and the potent smell of s*x was evident in the room. I could see the tangled up sheets – but she was nowhere to be seen, her scent was just lingering. I knew she wasn’t in there, but I checked the bathroom anyway.

She was gone – and I felt something tear inside me, as if I had just lost something important that I did not understand. I felt my wolf howl in despair.

Why did she leave? Who was she? So many questions flew through my head, and I felt a sudden coldness enveloping my heart. If she didn't want me, then so be it, but I would never again open up to anyone. I will never ever give myself permission to hope.
