Max stepped out of the car the moment the vehicle stopped, looking around tensely while the rest of his warriors followed suit. The meeting location did not offer the best natural protection, but it was well-hidden in the middle of a thick forest and with no human presence for miles. As long as no one leaked the details, they were as safe as they could be. It was also on the border between the North and South, so neither side had a reason to complain. If anyone but the two packs’ representatives arrived there, at least Max would know there was someone talking. The only people who knew the location prior to the date were the alphas of the three packs and their Lunas if they had one. Everyone else, even Max’s own people, found out where they were going on the way there.
