Chapter- 2 The Birth

I was born in Australia to my parents(Marie Crimson and Avien Crimson) on January 22nd, 2005 at Sollitaire Hospital. And after that my brother took birth on 30th of March, 2000. Which means, I am five years smaller than him and which on its own means I am of Nineteen. I never revealed my real age to you, but you wanted to know about me. So, I did. At first, my parents wanted to have a boy. And it did happen. My big brother, Andey took birth. My parents, after five years wanted to have another child, and that too a son. And in June, 2006, my parents got to know that my mom was 2 months pregnant when she had a sudden stomach ache plus vomiting. My parents got extremely happy and were 100% sure that they were going to have a boy. It looked like that they were very sure about the future. And they also celebrated the happiness of mom's pregnancy. But a tragedy occured!!! I think you might have guessed it. On 22nd January, 2005 I came in this world. I took birth. When the doctor informed mom and dad, that a girl has taken birth, they were totally shocked and were taken aback. After sometime the doctor came running and told them(my parents) something, something which they couldn't understand. The doctor told them that the girl which has taken birth, has high levels of testesterone than estrogen. Although, I had female organs but I wasn't like other girls. My parents accepted the truth of having a girl but didn't wanted to accept the other truth, that I was more of a guy than a girl. And they wanted to hide this truth from everyone they knew and... and from their own daughter, from me also. After coming back from the hospital and after a few days of my birth, they told everyone about the birth of me, about the birth of a girl. Everyone was just feeling okay. Not that feeling(feeling of excitement which they had when my brother had took birth) Some said, that my parents should have done a pre-checkup, that whether there was a boy or not. But its ok. Now whatever they have done, can't get erased. And some others said that they should try for the third time. But my parents didn't want, as you know that the world has already become so expensive, what could the situation had been back then. Struggling with three kids, or having three kids in this struggling and expensive world, is not a joke. So just like others do, they also did the same. Sure enough they kept my name. And they had a smile on their face while choosing the name for their daughter, but was it just an outer smile or was the inner soul also involved in this? Don't know. My parents didn't know that how and which name to choose for me. So they decided to keep my name through lottery system and so, they had two bowls: the first bowl had chits which contained the letters from A to Z and then there was an another bowl which contained the names starting from the letters A to Z. I am sure you didn't have understood it at all. But let me tell you once again with an example. See, for example, they chose the letter A or C or F Or anything and after the particular alphabet had been chosen, then they would pick a name from the other bowl starting from that particular or following alphabet. So, in the first bowl they picked up the letter E and from the other bowl they chose my name, "Eliana" which means... bright, I think so and I am not much sure about the meaning of my name. If you wanna know the meaning of my name just surf the internet and you can check it" Eliana's talk was half completed when she got interrupted by Allen, " Hey Eliana, when is this story gonna end? It has become dark already." Eliana spoke up, "You wanna listen my story also and don't have patience, what kind of a human being are you? It's ok, just leave it, let's get back going to the hostel." Allen woke up with Eliana and said to her, "Hey Eli, after listening half of your story....", Eliana suddenly spoke up, " Its not even half the story, its less than that. " Allen spoke, " Ok sorry, your less than half story was or is like that it had been created and that... that you are just faking all this up, how could you simply know so much about what happened from your birth? " Eliana said in an annoyed voice filled with anger, " Hey Allen, if you would have been in my place then only you would have got to know that its a real story, not a fake one. And yes anyone doesn't remember from their birth that what had happened during that time period. Their mom and dad tell them about it. Ok, now just shut up. " Allen laughed and said, "Ok sorry Eli, I was just joking. I don't know much about you. By the way why do you get so annoyed or angry on small - small things and why are you always behaving in a serious mood, why can't you be funny? I think so that you are a real guy or tomboy and such a serious person I had ever seen in my life before. " Eliana said, " Yeah sure you can call me an introvert. I am not a real talker and gulps everything that comes to the mind, like you do Ally. I think before I speak. But you don't, you just speak out whatever comes to your mind. That is what makes you and me different. I don't know, how did I even become friends with you in the first place. And you say that you don't have any girl friend. Its just because you guys don't have feelings for them and you don't even wanna try to understand them. I am sure that you are not able to understand me. That's why you are not able to understand my problems also. If you would have been in my place, you could have easily understood my problems. But you aren't, so you are not able to understand me or don't try to understand me. " Allen said, " Today you are talking like a real girl. Has god transformed you from a tomboy to a girl? But you were better when you were the previous Eli. Please god, return back my previous Eli. And yes, you had asked that how did we even become friends? On your first day, in the college, you were not able to find your way to the class. I was standing near you. You wanted help but you were not asking for it. So, I decided to help you by showing you your way to the class. You thanked me but the nervousness on your face could be seen clearly. Then and after you always used to ask me for help or I can say you used me. I wasn't always comfortable with girls but you were very different a cool one, but cool with me only. And then we started sharing things and became best friends. Some people have spread the fake news that we are couples. People were saying that we both would have a couple dance on Valentine's Day. By the way you are a real introvert Eli and I don't think that we can have anything between us, how can anyone be so serious in or about life and I can't spend my whole life with a serious person. But what I think id that you need or you should take a break from life because you already have a lot of burden on your shoulders. Just a friend's advice and you should also pull off that burden of yours. " Eliana spoke, "Don't be stupid!! I am just the same Eli, but someday everyone has to change with time if you wanna change yourself. And hang on, I am not going on a date with my best friend who's already a stupid one and yes if I am serious, why are you having problem. And I am me and I won't change myself for any stupid. Understood? I think you must have understood. Ok, so we have walked half the way to our hostel. Hey, look there, we didn't even pay attention that how the time got passed, we have reached the ' The Cuisine Restaurant + Cafe '. Wanna eat something, I am feeling very hungry. We can talk there while we eat." Allen nodded his head to say yes. It was just 50 metres away from where they were. They opened the door of the cafe and entered inside. The restaurant was full of people talking and having their dinner. Some were also having snacks. They both took their seats. A waiter saw them and went towards them. He asked them

what did they wanted to have. Allen and Eliana told the waiter that they will inform him ( the waiter) afterwards, what do they want to have. So, the waiter left them alone with a nod and a smile. Allen and Eliana decided that they would be having their dinner. They opened the menu book and checked the menu that what could best fit their demands for the dinner. It had all kind of food from each and every country. They were surprised that how could a restaurant have so much to serve and at a very low cost or at a very cheap price. They were confused what to choose. So at last they decided to order Indian food. And they made the decision of eating Non-Veg Biryani. They ordered their dinner. While their order was being prepared they decided to talk for some moment. Allen started first, " So Eli, have you decided about your future? And this time I am very serious. " Eliana didn't spill a word. It looked like that she had gone in silent mode. Allen waited for her answer for a minute or two but didn't get his answer. He then spoke up impatiently, " Eli, answer me up. I have been waiting for your answer since a minute but you are not answering me. Answer me. " It looked like that Eliana wasn't paying attention to whatever Allen was saying. Allen spoke up immediately, " Are you even paying attention to what I am saying? Are you even looking at me? I am waiting for your answer which directly means, I want an answer from you. Are you listening? " Eliana looked suddenly at Allen and spoke up immediately, " Oh were you saying something, sorry, I didn't pay attention to your words. " Allen again spoke up, " See Eliana, this time I am also serious and I am asking you have you set any goals for future or are you aware of what kind of a life are you going to live in future, have you? " Eliana said, " I don't know much about my future, but my final and only decision will be to always be there for my family first and then for the God, although my family hasn't supported me enough, but then also I love them and will always love them forever. At last, my friends and teachers. Whatever will happen in my later life, I will accept it with a happy mind, because God has decided it for me and because he wants me to do it. And I don't think so that he would think something ungrateful for me." Allen was about to speak, when the waiter suddenly appeared there with the dinner in his hand. They had their dinner, while they also talked. Allen said, " Well then, it simply means that you don't have any high hopes for your future. Let's talk more. Who do you have on your mind? " Eliana said, " What do you mean that who do I have on my mind? " Allen said with a smile, " I mean to say that do you have a crush on someone or do you know someone that has a crush on you? " Eliana said, " No, I don't have and I don't even know anyone that has a crush on me. But I don't understand that why are you asking this question from me for many a times? Why don't you tell me about your crush? " Allen spoke to himself, oh yeah, how can an introvert have a crush on anybody!! He then said, " I know that whom I like but I think so, that the girl doesn't know about it or doesn't wanna agree that she's in love with someone. " Eliana said, " Why don't you tell her that you are in love with her? Why don't you just show your love for her? I am sure, she would then surely agree with you. Just try it, you can do it. "
