I continued to eat my breakfast, munching on the stuffed pancakes as we waited for Har- I mean daddy to come downstairs.
"Good morning ladies!" A husky voice greeted with such enthusiasm. I continued to eat my food, ignoring the his greeting as he walked over to his wife, giving her a passionate kiss on the lips.
I rolled my eyes, reaching out to grab the chocolate syrup, pouring more into my breakfast.
My step-father walked over to me, making me widen my eyes as he gave a peck on the top of my head. I felt rather embarrassed at the moment, ignoring the fact that my heart is hammering against my rib cage. I haven't took a shower and my hair probably stinks, which is embarrassing.
"Rissa, do you want to go to college? I can find Universities that you can fit in," Lizbeth suggested. "If that's what you want though."
I pondered for a moment, playing with my food as I tossed it around my plate. I've never been to a real University before. The only school that I've been to was the school inside the orphanage and I practically know everyone around which makes it easier. This is a big step for me.
"Thank you but I'll think about it." I smiled at her politely as she nodded her head in understatement. She looked at her wrist watch and stood up from her seat quickly.
"Oh hon, I gotta go. I'm going to be late. Do you have any appointment for today?" she asked Harry as she smoothed out her white dress.
"Yeah, I've got a lunch meeting. We've got a new producer." He answered, giving her a kiss goodbye, making me look away.
Sweet.
lizbeth rushed over to my side to give me a quick peck on my cheek.
"Bye love!" She bid, leaving the kitchen for Harry and to myself alone.
I heard the front door shut, making me sigh to myself, feeling a bit nervous because of the fact that I'm alone with Harry.
"It's just you and I then." He said. I looked up to see him smirking.
I nodded my head and stared down at the floor.
Oh, nice tiles.
Before I knew it, I felt his lips on mine.
