It was around 6 a.m. when I woke up by the sound of birds chirping on the balcony attached to the hotel room. After refreshing myself, I ordered breakfast and woke Dafne up. We had a tight schedule to follow as Cape Town only the first country in our holiday tour list and we planned on spending only 3 days here. The next destination was the paradise island then to Bali and then finally back to Australia to prepare for the upcoming semester. As soon as we hit the road, we head straight to the Maclear’s beacon mountain to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The view was astonishing. The best part of the vacation that we planned was that none of it constituted of shopping, we selected places with wonderful scenery to get some fresh air and find peace again in our life.
