"Mommy, wake up. Jacob is here."
"Mm Hmm."
"Wake up, mom. It's Jacob. " I felt Ariel give me a little shake.
"Jacob," I sat straight up. Ariel giggled.
"Yes, he's outside. I can smell him."
I sniffed and shook, surprised that I could too smell his wonderful scent.
"How the heck can I smell Jacob? Is he inside?: I jumped up.
"Where is your sister?"
"In her room. Can Jameson let Jacob in?"
"Yes, sweetheart, and tell Jacob I'll be down in a minute."
"Okay, mommy," Ariel skipped off.
"Gosh." I looked in the mirror. Quickly, I grabbed my hair brush and brushed my hair. Then, I moved to my teeth. I sniffed my armpit. I still smell the deodorant from this morning. My insides were tingling thinking of Jacob. I'm surprised a hunk like him could find me a single parent of three attractive.
"Damn, he's a wolf. Heck, I'm a wolf. My kids are wolves."
"Are you talking to yourself?"
I jumped Jacob's deep voice coming from behind me. It was like music to my ears. I turned facing him. I couldn't help but smile at him. I missed seeing his handsome face. I watched as those beautiful eyes flickered.
"You're back." I finally spoke up.
Jacob just stood. He angled his head to the side. I watched curiously. Something felt different. A sharp, sudden pain shot through my head. I shook it off. What was that. Jacob walked closer. His scent took over me completely. I felt like purring.
Jacob pulled me into his arms, and I felt delightful.
"You're a wolf?" I asked even though I knew the answer to my own question.
"So are you." Jacob sniffed my hair. Ariel came into mind.
"Wait, is that the reason Ariel smells you."
"I felt her wolf when we first met."
"How?"
"I'm not sure, but I knew she was a wolf. She has a shifter scent. But you guys smelled human. Your wonderful scent over powers my senses. Delicious mate." He smiled. Jacob ran his hand down my hair. I shivered at his touch. I bit on my bottom lip as I stared into Jacob's eyes. His eyes then focused on my lips.
"Gosh. Just kiss already. Old people." Sara said from the doorway.
"Sara, privacy." I said, annoyed at her for interrupting us, not taking my eyes off Jacob. He grinned. I heard as she walked away.
"Good advice from Sara," Jacob chuckled. I shook my head and laughed.
Jacob wasted not another minute. Our lips touch, and our kiss grew from sweet to needy. I needed and wanted more. Jacob is the best kisser. I've never experienced a kiss this magnificent, and I'm almost forty. Then again, I've only been kissed by two other people. Xander in high school and then my ex-husband Daniel. Neither one stood a chance to Jacob.
His hand found its way under my shirt to rub my back. I couldn't get enough. My arms wrapped around his neck, and I moaned into his mouth.
This was everything. Being with Jacob woke my sleeping body up. The electrifying touches that we shared woke up parts of me that were once forgotten. The major wet part that needed this man's attention right now.
Jacob lifted me with ease, and my legs wrapped around his waist instantly. He looked like an extremely tall body builder on steriods. He could lift me with his pinky if he wanted to.
"I've missed you, mate." Jacob nuzzled into my neck.
"I've missed you too, mate." I giggled.
I was soaked through my undies now. My back was now pressed against the wall as Jacob pushed the large bulge in his pants against my core. I was puddy in his arms.
Jacob pulled back, breaking our lustful embrace. I whimpered, pushing myself back against him. He growled. Giving me another kiss then pulling away. He sat my feet on the ground. My legs felt like jello. Jacob helped me get stable in his strong arms until. I was able to support my own self.
"Jacob,Jacob." Ariel ran into the room. I was now grateful that things didn't proceed. I can't believe I made out with Jacob with the door wide open. I didn't want my kids walking in on that. My mind was mush though, and around Jacob, my reasonable thinking was replaced by lust.
Jacob lifted Ariel into his big arms.
"Are you better now, Jacob? Beta told me you were sick."
"I'm better than ever."
"You were sick?" My stomach dropped.
"I'm well now. There is no need to fret." He said, searching my eyes for something.
"Jacob, mom is a witch and wolf. I'm a wolf, and so are Sara and Jameson. We read from a really old book and poof magic." Ariel said with a rush. The excitement poured off her. I smiled at my little girl. All of my kids accepted being a shifter. They are all equal excited and couldn't wait to learn more about this life.
"So I've heard little wolf." Jacob said. I sat on the bed and watched the two of them carry on. She really missed Jacob. I didn't realize how attached to him she had gotten.
"You're a wolf too, Jacob?"
"I am a werewolf."
"Sweetheart, go and find Walton, and we'll get him lunch."
"Yes, Mommy, if he's around." She wiggled away from Jacob and skipped out the room.
"Werewolves. Who would have thought?"
"I heard about what happened. Deri and Cher had no right to say anything to you. They will be punished for that."
"I was freaked out at the time but glad it happened. The kids and I were able to spend time discovering our new abilities. There's so many books and rules to learn, but we'll soon be naturals."
"You guys are taking it well. I had a billion negative thoughts rushing here. Kristen and Frit told me what happened and how they hadn't seen or heard from you guys. I thought you all took off and left me."
"No. I would never leave you, Jacob. I now know what a bond means, and believe me, it's in full effect."
"So you're going to let me put my mark that beautiful neck of yours. Let everyone know you're mine." Jacob traced a finger on my neck. I held back the moan that wanted to escape.
"I've read about that. I'm scared it'll hurt but I'll love to wear your mark." Jacob growled as his eyes flicked back and forth. Beautiful green, then onyx black back to its original green color.
"How much have you read?"
"So much.. My great aunt left us a series of journals that explained what's happening. It's been helpful. The kids are so hyped up about the whole ordeal that they've seemed to help me read through four of the eight books. It's just a lot of information and questions that I wished my family were here to explain."
"I'll help as best I could. You guys will have to join my pack. I don't know if you're read about being a rouge."
" I have not. Is that bad?"
"It is. You need to belong to a pack, and you guys are now, my family. Your aunt lived with us, so I figured you guys could join this pack. And the kids can take the wolf training class at school now."
"I have so many questions. We lifted the block for our natural selves to show, but so far, nothing. My smell has improved, but I can't tell a difference."
"We can. The magic is in the air surrounding you guys. When the time comes, we are here to help."
"Okay." I smiled. I liked all the support Jacob was giving. Something I haven't had since my grandmother was alive. Daniel definitely never supported me, and I am glad for all his neglect because now I have Jacob in my corner. A mate that has a connection with me and my kids.
