Chapter 12:: The Miracle Worker

Hyde is just waking up out of bed and he feels rather refreshed than anything. He got up, washed his face, brushed his teeth combed his hair and took him a long, hot shower to start his day. When he he got out of the shower, he was completely invisible and he couldn't understand why. In the middle of him trying to make sense of it he watched himself turn back visible through the mirror. "Wooooh. That was close, but it fie (fire) too though." He dried himself snd put his clothes on. He goes downstairs to where Orion is at.

"Yo? Come take a look at this sink right quick. I think the water just stopped working." Hyde walked over there and turned on the faucet. It had completely shocked Orion since he was so sure that it was messed up at first. "Hold on, Bruh. It aint no way it just works like that.

Patricia sitting in the chair thinking to herself. "Oh, I know who i can call. It might be a stretch though, but we gone see." Talking out loud as she starts to look through her contacts and click on the number. Hyde answers the phone. "Yeah, What's up?" Being as direct as he can be. She responds back in a little hyped tone. "Hey, Hyde. I'm glad you answered. This is Patricia and I know we're not tight like that, but its Dan-Yella. She went into shock this morning and its just been so much weirdness going on. Lord."She done stood up and started pacing back and forth. "I just don't know what to do." Smacking her thigh bone as she complains.

Hyde as been listening the whole time, but also thinking as well. its no way they could have been thinking the same thing. He cut her off almost immediately. "Wait a minute. Weirdness going on, huh? What kind of weirdness are you referring to in particular? We might can figure something out." His curiosity done got the best of him now as he tries to get down to the nitty gritty. Her tone gets a little low right as Ahmad heads out to the vending machine. The comfort level change in her once she knows that shes alone. "OK. So, I been reading people minds since this morning. Like, I can hear their inner thoughts. Is it anything that happened to you out of the ordinary this morning, Hyde? Anything at all? Or am I just making all of this up in my head."

Hyde swallow some of his spit, then leaned back on the counter in the kitchen as Orion walked back into the front room to work on his video. You can see his head moving back and forth in order to be able to watch what was happening in the direction of the door. He didnt see nobody coming, so he continued to speak. "Well, now that you mentioned, I did turn invisible in the mirror earlier. Oh yeah and right then Orion told me that the water wasn't working. He seemed pretty convinced, but I came over here and turned it on like it won't nothing. I don't know if that counts for anything." A pause fell amongst the both of them as he finished speaking. a shocking demeanor had traveled amongst Patricia.

"So you got powers too? Something isnt right, Hyde. It seems like only the three of us are the ones who thinks so. We're going to need you down come down to the hospital, so we can see whats wrong with her. How fast can you get here?" He didn't waste no time. Something in him was highly motivated to figuring this thing out. "I'll see what I can do. My boy Orion is working on a video, so ima have to wait at least a few hours first, before I can anywhere or do anything. I'll let you know when I'm free though." They both agreed on that and hung up while Hyde goes in the living room to ask Orion. While that's going on the scene goes to White-Land and Granger talking to eachother over drinks.

"Man, I'm telling you, Shawty was too bad. I even woke up to her the next day in the morning. She was all that." White-Land was saying as Granger chimed in. "Man, I f****d Candice so good she left early in the morning. Then aint show up for work. I know i f****d her mind, body, and soul up. She couldn't handle me for real." Laughing it up, as they sit at the bar and reminiscing over their lastnight conquers. After the laughs died down, White-Land begins to speak again. "I don't know that. It's just one thing that gets me though. When I did wake up that morning, something kind of happened. Like I felt different or something. I was laying with the girl and she asked me what I remembered lastnight. All of a sudden, my eyes did like a full background compute of her. Like her name, her parents name, height and weight. It was so automatic too. Almost like.." He paused before going any further.

A nonchalant Granger was already understanding what he was saying though. Its the same thing Patricia was warning him about earlier. "Like Magic?" He asked as he looked at his lifelong friend, while the friend looked back at him and nodded. Granger continued to speak. "Yeah, I know what you mean. I been feeling that same magic. I woke up and went to the jobsite this morning." Starting to whisper, so nobody can hear him." It was just me and I was thinking on how long it took to build a house. You know, complaining. Like any real laborer would do. Then I leaned down and put my fingers through the grass. All of a sudden, the house started building itself from scratch. When I tell you, I was staring in amusement. Boy, I just knew something out of the ordinary had happened. Patricia was just talking about it too. She said she can read minds and s**t. I wish I had that power." He continues to ramble as White-Land stops him mid ramble as he reacts to hearing him say Patricia. Patricia? So, its more of us that got powers? We gotta go find Patricia and figure out what's going on for real. We can't be the only one with powers. Where Patricia at now? "

The questions was start to pour in as they get down to business trying to really figure out what happened lastnight. Granger responds. "Patricia is at the hospital with Dan-Yella. She said the girl went into shock this morning. I never recall that ever happening to her either." While Granger is thinking, White-Land had already made an executive decision. "We have to get to that hospital. Come on." They take off to leave to go to the hospital while the scene goes to Camilia, Baker, And Rosay at the gravestone of KimmerLani "Elecksa" Matickalose. Otherwise known as The Lady Of Love. The candles were set and they have mixed their energies together to make a black, red, and purple hue traveling in a circle around the tombstone as they begin to chant.

"Spirit of the night, Spirit of the day, We asking for your help, just to make the others pay, Calling out to the supernatural force, to bring back KimmerLani and let nature run its course. Give her the strength, From the the God's up above, so she can return to us as The Lady Of Dragon Love." They repeat their chant three times Grave starts to glow and the casket starts to rise out of the ground. Tilting upwards and shining the light right through the casket as KimmerLani body is pulled out the casket and onto the ground." Feet planted as she open her eyes, still looking as youthful as she did as a young adult. She starts to touch her face. "I can't believe it. I can't believe that I'm still alive. Its a miracle."

She is in awe at the miracle that she just witnessed, but it brings her face to a scary halt as she sees Rosay, Camilia, and Baker energy fields transforms them back into regular humans and the my stand before KimmerLani. "Ahhh. This is a nightmare. I thought yall were dead." Baker covers her mouth instantly. "Shhh. Just be quiet. We were dead, but we're back alive now and we're the ones that brought you back. You might should want to repay us by doing what we say. You are now my spouse and we will work together to take over the world. I will reclaim my throne as the infamous dragon king. Remember what happened last time you tried to disobey my orders. I had to use my mind tricks on you. I don't think you want that again, so this time come with us willingly. We're the only people that know you here. You couldn't even pass for normal around here with the way this new technology is around here. You need us."

His words and tension was cutting like a knife. Truth be told, She did need him. It was obvious that she didn't know anybody and that she would have a hard time fitting in. So, she figured she'll just follow them for now, long enough to learn all of the semantics of the world. Then she could make her escape and find a way to destroy them again. Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Granger and White-Land has walked into Dan-Yellas room. Patricia looked at them confused. "What do we owe this presence?" Granger looked up at her with a devilish grin. However White-Land took over the conversation. "We came by to see how Dan-Yella was doing. Is she alright? How's Lil man? Where he at?" Granger cuts his eye over there at him. "Dang, Calm down. You talking like that's yo child."

He tried hitting him with some antagonizing lines, but it didnt work. "Nall, because a situation like this aint nothing to be taken lightly for real. She got a 18 year old son. I can imagine how her son feel and how she gone feel once she wake up from all of this. Hopefully it'll be soon." Admitting his statement with completely sympathy for him and her. Patricia couldn't help but to look at him in awe. "Aww. That is very sweet of you, Mr. Wilkerson. I don't mind you staying. Granger is the one with the petty attitude right now."

She admits as White-Land looks at Granger and lowkey agrees with her. Mainly because Granger can't do nothing but laugh at the situation. Making himself look obvious. White-Land begins to speak again. "See man? This is what they mean by your petty attitude. I mean I do understand how you can feel the way you feel, but at the same time she's not yours no more. You shouldn't feel no type of way about it." His friend was actually starting to make sense to him for real. It always left him thinking, but at the same time he likes to talk his junk. He doesn't really care about the technicality of it. "Aite, man. I'll chill out. Besides, I got bigger fish to fry. I aint got time for all of this extra. Let's just check on Dan-Yella and be happy." Granger finishes off as, they walk up to the bed and look at Dan-Yella still body. Not moving an inch. Its steady beeping. Everybody is waiting to see if it was going to flatline or not.

As they were watching, Hyde and Orion pops up. "What's up, yall? I'm sorry we're late, but like my boy Orion said, he had to finish up some work." Hyde started it off. Now Orion comes in right after. "Yeah, We really did try our best to get here as fast as we could. Well at least what the law would allow us to." Laughing to let the people know it was a joke. "Whats going on with Dan-Yella? Let's get over here to check on her." He walks over to her and stand in front of her. Everybody else circles around her as well. "Look at her. She looks so at peace right now." White-Land comments as he is staring passionately amongst Dan-Yellas face. "Yeah. i wish she could wake up soon. Its so sad to see her lying up here like this." Patricia speaks as she grabs her bestfriend hand. Squeezing it a little tightly, but not too tight.

As soon as she grabs her hand, White-Land places his palm on her shoulder and rub lightly. Granger begins to speak. "The fact that it did happen unexpectedly though. She was found brushing her teeth. Going into shock. That don't add up for real." His brain starting to speed up. Lightly stroking her other arm. Hydes chimes in. "Yeah. It don't and we're going to get to the bottom of it. We're all in this together." He says as he grabs her hand. At that very moment, she starts to have a seizure and bounce up and down in the hospital bed.

Orion pushes Hyde out the way. Then he grabs her hand. "I'm sorry, bruh, but now we know where the problem lies. We gotta try another result." As he says that Dan-Yellas body went from flatline to yellow glow.
