Something just didn’t add up. Killian claimed never to have harmed Wylder’s uncle, and Wylder claimed never to have harmed Killian’s former mate. What was happening?
“You didn’t… kill her?” I asked.
“Did you think I would?” he inquired.
I slowly shook my head.
“No, I didn’t really, but I don’t know you either. I don’t know you or Killian. I just know you hate each other, and now I am caught in the middle of that,” I informed him.
