“Another party?” I asked.
Wylder had stayed over at Killian’s place for two days now. He had left most things in Zeke’s hands. It was clear after being apart from me that he just wanted a few days with me.
He even joined the dinners, though I could sense he was not used to eating with others, and the shared meals made him a little uncomfortable. Yet it helped that I sat beside him and held his hand, making him calmer.
