17 Since I didn’t sleep well last night, reliving my meeting with Farah Javan, I didn’t have the energy to join Carrie on the jogging trail this morning. Running really wasn’t my thing. I considered running a means to an end, like running to catch a fly ball or a long pass; running to the back of the tennis court to return a lob sent over my head. I found running for its own sake boring. I understood the health benefits and the endorphin running high. It just wasn’t for me. I called Carrie to back out and agreed to meet with her at her office the next day instead. I needed to bring her up to date on my meeting with Farah and see how Carrie was doing after her break-up with Colby. Several hours remained before the afternoon Seahawks game I planned to watch with Bobby and Hanna at her home
