Chapter 13 I decided to forego the gazebo gathering and leave Cassie to flirt in peace. I wouldn't have been able to stop her anyway. My meddling seemed to have achieved the opposite effect. It occurred to me that this was a rare opportunity to search Spencer Rayburn's room. He and the other men wouldn't be back from their fishing excursion for quite a while, and everyone else was either in the gazebo or down by the water.
