I am exhausted. Ana's in bed already watching a movie way past her bedtime.
"Hey, tired?" Jay asks me keeping a hand on my shoulder. Today was such a long day.
"Like you have no idea," I mutter.
"Come, let's go to bed." He says. I get up and shed my clothes. Jay sees my butt and flinches. He goes in and comes out with a cream.
"Jay.. Do you think with Carol.."
"Let's not talk about the girls tonight."
He applies the cream and we both hit the bed and fall asleep.
I wake up next morning to find Jay already out of bed cooking breakfast. Ana is reading a book on the kitchen counter while helping her uncle Jay prepare food and Carol is asleep on the couch in a very awkward position. I pick her up and adjust a pillow.
