CHAPTER 10. It was a day of uncertainty. The grades were about to be released. Sitting on a bench in the quadrangle, I absent-mindedly watched some ants moving around my shoe. They came and went very quickly. “Are you nervous, too?” I asked them without realizing that I wasn’t alone. Someone had come over to where I was sitting and I hadn’t even noticed. “Are you talking to the ants? Do they understand you? Do they answer you? What are they saying?” I heard from right next to me. I looked up startled by the barrage of questions. It was Chelito, my little sister, who was sitting smiling on the bench next to me. “What are you doing here?” I asked her and without waiting for a reply she gave me a kiss. “I knew you were going to be nervous so I came to keep you company,” she said smilin
