CHAPTER 11. It seemed to me as if the journey was getting shorter. I had traveled the route so many times that I could almost sleep and the car would take me there on its own. When I’d almost reached Fatima, I remembered that it had been some time since I’d learned that the oldest bookshop in the world was in Lisbon, and I decided to pay it a visit to see what it was like.
