Calliope had awoken to comfort him in the night, as she always did, by humming the song their aunt had sung to them as children. Phoebus envied his sister her memories of their aunt, and wondered at how Calliope was able to remember such things as they were only babies when she was slain. As they broke their fast, Calliope mentioned that she thought they might leave Ynis Wytrin, that their father was restless and needed to travel a long road.
