*(0^0)**(0^0)**(0^0)* Saturday, November 20, 2021 *(0^0)* Maledi moans in the bed, “that tickles master… move some more…” "What the hell are you doing?" Gene wakes up with a cold stare on Maledi, “You took my pillow and replaced yourself for me to unconsciously touch you…” Maledi blushes, “I thought that master is feeling cold so I had to do my best to keep him warm…” "I'm not a pervert, so don't test me..." Gene calmly sighs, “Alright… but don’t do that again. By the way, where is Romani?” “He went back to the mansion to get some things,” Maledi gets out of the bed with her new body and started to clean his room. “You should take a bath, master. I’ll prepare your clothes in front of the bathroom door.” “Thank you, Maledi.” Gene goes to the bathroom, “Since you have a new body, I think you should eat…” “I’m fine master,” Maledi smiles at him. “I can manage without food~” *(0^0)* After changing clothes and fixing things, Gene goes to the café and speaks with the owner. “So what do you want for breakfast?” Vortex, the owner of Sir Viz's, greets him. “Good morning, child.” “About the other staff members,” Gene looks around and sees Alesa, “Is she one of them?” “Hmm... yes she is and isn't, but she told us about you.” Vortex speaks casually. “Are you going to join us?” “I need to know who I am working with first,” Gene looks at him cautiously, “before I could join…” “I can show them now,” Vortex takes his smartphone out and shows him their profiles. “Do not take notes and do not copy. I am serious…” “Yeah, sure...” Gene smiles at him. “I can see that…” *(0^0)* Vortex Blade Vizard (Owner and Cashier) – Shadow Blades Julie Bear Smarty (Special Floor Waiter) – Sonic Flare Priestess Camera Dolly (Special Floor Manager) – Smog Shield Jodie Pool Rickie (Waiter) – Rain Dagger Jack Kirby Arson (Waiter) – Freezing Field Alanine Chlorine (Cashier) – Camouflage Rage Terra Fray Freedom (Cook) – Scissor Legs Anna Belle Cathy (Cook) – Stone Elbows Cherish Apparel (Cook) – Zapper Fingers Dee Gee Pee Tee (Waiter) – Earth Ball Alesa Bach (Trainee) – Malicious Eye *(0^0)* “Some of the special customers are our members as well but they choose to lie low while some of the staff not seen in the list are powerless,” Vortex gives him a glass of hot chocolate. “Are you interested now?” “As a matter of fact, I am.” Gene nods in excitement. “Please count me in…” At the other table, Alesa feels very happy. She is actually listening to the conversation the entire time. Afterwards, she stands up and leaves for school. “Welcome to the Sir Viz, Gene,” she whispers. *(0^0)* At a school meeting in GLU, Gene notices that most of his classmates begin to lighten up to him. “How’s it going, Gene?” Bianchi approaches him. “You do look different now than last week.” “What makes you say that?” Gene asks. “They treat you normally now,” Bianchi pats him in the shoulder, “just like I do.” Cell approaches him, “I treat you normal too.” “Gene,” Alesa calls him. “Do you have a moment?” “Yeah,” Gene approaches her. “What is it?” “You will be the group leader for our duty on Thursday,” Alesa gives him a piece of paper. “Use this to fix our schedule for the first batch and second batch during our break time.” “I see,” Gene takes the paper from Alesa and accidentally touches her hand. “Ah,” Alesa drops the paper. “Sorry. I um reacted unconsciously.” Alesa turns away from him. “It’s okay,” Gene picks up the paper. “I noticed that he is not here today.” “Oh you mean Ericus,” Alesa sighs. “He is said that he is sick. I highly doubt it. The school bell rings signalling that classes are about to begin. "Looks like the bell rang…” “So… see you around,” Gene smiles at her. “Yeah,” Alesa nods at him. "Later..." *(0^0)* After the class meeting, Gene decides to go back to the mansion. Upon arrival, the caretaker welcomes him inside. He didn’t ask any more questions and goes back to the guardhouse. Gene finds it unusual to be welcomed inside. However, he brushes it off and moves inside. “You made it,” Romani grins at him. “I need to give you another gift.” “And that is?” “This one,” Romani gives him a key with an emerald gem decorated in it. “Keep this with you always.” “And,” Gene takes it, “What does this do to me?” “Long ago,” Romani presents him with a chair to sit on, “A superior-being named Lady Waxe presented the three mortals with three powerful keys to keep. That one I gave you is one of them and I want you to keep it within your soul so that nobody else can find it.” “Do you know where the others are?” “You know I have a great suspicion that the other two gems are in this developing country,” Romani sighs. “What happens if the keys go to the wrong person,” Gene wonders, “like Vol-jan for example?” “like Vol-jan for example?” “If he gets the three keys,” Romani lies back down on his bed, “his curse will be uplifted and there will be chaos everywhere. Now, I think it is getting late and you should be heading home.” *(0^0)* Meanwhile at Alesa’s home, “Clinical group H4 huh,” Alesa lists her groupmates’ names. “If I remember correctly… Gene is always the lax one.” She drops her pen, “Why am I thinking of him again?” “Milady,” the butler knocks on her door. “Master is calling for you.” “I’m busy,” Alesa lies to the butler. “Tell him I am doing my Nursing Care Plan.” “It is imperative that you must go milady,” the butler insists, “besides-” “I’ll take it from here,” Alesa’s father opens the door. Alesa glares at her father, “Is it about me joining Sir Viz?” Alazo, her father, laughs. “I don’t care which side you join into. Your older brother is my heir anyway.” “Then what do you want to talk about, dad?” “I just want to check if my daughter is studying well,” Alazo closes the door, “and she is…” Alesa furiously turns away. Looking for a way to take her anger off, “I wonder if Gene’s done with the group schedule.” She grabs her phone and contacts him. “Good evening,” Gene answers the phone. “Are you done with our schedules?” “Yeah,” Gene yawns. “I will show you the batches tomorrow…” “Show it at Sir Viz tomorrow,” she calms down. “Let’s have breakfast together…” “Uh sure,” Gene looks at the time. “It’s already late… so uh...” “G-good night Gene,” Alesa ends the call. She feels her cheeks, “Why am I blushing?” *(0^0)* Sunday, November 21, 2021 The next day, Gene goes to Sir Viz to meet up with Alesa. With Maledi keeping his room clean, Gene has a lot of time to do other things aside from reviewing. He has cleared most of his schedule because of her. As for his budget, being in the second floor of the cafeteria allows him to save more money. Gene is then greeted by Julie. “Mr. Amano,” Julie smiles at him with voice at full volume. “GOOD MORNING~” “Uh yeah,” Gene heads to his seat. “I want pineapple juice and the usual today…” “OKAY,” Julie turns around and walks gracefully like a ballerina, “CHAK PAK CHAK!” “Is he alright?” Gene asks Priestess. “Yeah,” Priestess snorts like a pig, “he does that when he is inspired at work…” “You guys are strange,” Gene yawns and stretches his arms out. “Good morning,” Alesa greets him and sits beside him. “I told Julie that I am going to sit with you every day from now on. I hope you don’t get disturbed.” “I’m fine with it,” Gene smiles at her. “I am also getting used to having more people talking to me.” “That’s great… I mean good.” Alesa calls for Jodie, another waiter of the cafeteria. “I’ll have espresso as always and two pancakes.” “Okay Ms. Bach,” Jodie leaves to get her order. “I’ll be right back.” Julie brings Gene his order. “If you need anything from me I’ll be dancing around~” “Uh thanks Julie,” Gene awkwardly smiles at him and then he turns to Alesa, “I’ll wait for your order so we can eat together.” “You’ll do that,” Alesa smiles cheerfully, “Thank you. You know, this morning Ericus found out that you are also in the second floor.” “What did he tell you?” “He told me to ignore you,” Alesa sighs. “He does not control me so I’ll do what I want.” She suddenly takes a look at his food. “You like blueberry cheesecakes?” “Yeah,” Gene happily answers. “It is my favorite. Hey is it okay to ask you some questions about spirit warrior stuff?” “Sure go ahead,” she looks at him in the eyes. “How many groups are involved right now?” “As far as I know,” Alesa tries to recall, “there used to be three but then the Arcrat family and the Bach family decided to join forces. Sir Viz is one of the groups and they remain independent throughout the years. As for the Arcrat family, they fell apart and the Bach family took their fortune. Right now we only have two groups left.” “Are there others?” “Yeah I think so,” Alesa sighs. “Even in our world there are those who violate the rules of spirit war-craft. Oh my order is here~” *(0^0)* A few moments later, Gene and Alesa arrive at their classroom. The atmosphere suddenly intensifies as Ericus approaches Gene. Before Ericus could land a punch at Gene, Cell moves in between them. “I hate to break it to you Ericus,” Cell makes cracking sounds on his fists. “You want some? Come get some.” Ericus then turns to Alesa, “I was just absent for a day and you are already so close to him! I told you to ignore him and you didn’t listen!” Alesa yells at him, “I HAD ENOUGH OF YOU TRYING TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO. WE’RE DONE ERICUS!” Ericus is taken aback and heads out of the room. The students start whispering until the clinical instructor arrives oblivious of what is going on. Ericus has been stripped off in terms of dignity and pride… not that everybody cares. After the remedial classes, Gene goes to Sir Viz’s Café for a snack. “Wait for me Gene,” Alesa catches up to him. “We need to talk some more.” “About what topic?” he asks. “Let’s go to our seats first,” she hurries up. “I’m getting hungry…” “Don’t you have friends?” Gene scratches his head. “You are quite popular, you know…” “For somebody who knows me for being popular,” she stares at Gene, “you do not know much…” “Ouch,” Julie winks at Gene. “She’s got a point, you know~” “Thanks for uplifting my spirit, Julie.” Gene sighs, “I kind of want to eat some cookies.” “Alright, I want to join you kids,” Julie takes off his apron. “My shift’s just ended.” “Sure,” Alesa smiles at Julie. “You can come to our seat.” “Great,” Gene stretches his arms. “More people…” *(0^0)* Outside, a black car parks at the café getting the attention of Vortex. The driver comes out of the car and then enters the café. He is in full black and he looks as young as Gene and Alesa. He has gray hair and fairly white skin. Apart from that, his eyes are red. Vortex decides to approach the person. “Come on in special customer,” Vortex leads the strange person to the second floor. “Welcome to Sir Viz’s Café.” In the second floor, the stranger and Vortex converse with each other. “You are from another spirit group,” Vortex brings the stranger his order. “Who are you and what is your purpose here?” he asks him courteously. “I am Mr. 4 of the Emerald Ghost Hunters,” the stranger takes the tea to have a drink. “Earlier this week, we have detected a signal coming from the emerald key which has been lost for ages. We also found out that a new ghost hunter has been born and we believe he is a regular here.” “I believe that the one you are searching for is right over there,” Vortex directs his attention towards Gene and Alesa. “How can you identify where they belong?” “It’s my power,” Mr. 4 stands up and heads towards Gene. “I’m going to have a conversation with this guy.” Vortex stops him. “If you try to take away our member, you’ll have to face us first.” “I smell trouble,” Alesa glances to their direction. Gene looks at what Alesa is looking at, “What’s wrong?” “I’m just going to speak with him,” Mr. 4 looks back at Vortex, “that’s all. A phantom seeker like you should know that, right?” “Gene,” Vortex calls him over. “Come here.” Gene stands up, “What is it about?” “This man wants to speak with you,” Vortex signals Gene to come to their seat. “I also want to listen.” *(0^0)**(0^0)**(0^0)* FACTS Jodie Pool Rickie  Age: 30; Hair color: Black; Eye color: Cerulean; Skin tone: Fair; Personality: Earnest  Soul Extension: Rain Dagger Anna Belle Cathy  Age: 31; Hair color: Gray; Eye color: Brown; Skin tone: Fairly lighter; Personality: Friendly  Soul Extension: Stone Elbows Dee Gee Pee Tee  Age: 29; Hair color: Bright Yellow; Eye color: Green; Skin tone: Fair; Personality: Sociable  Soul Extension: Earth Ball The universes on the left side of the multiverse only believe in the gods of death, life, and essence while the universes on the right side of the multiverse believe only in the gods of creation, destruction, and essence. The Main Verse is a culmination of everything from all over the Multiverse. However, a huge part of it is hidden from the eyes of the normal mortal beings. As such, these people with powers prefer not to intermingle with any of the others. They do so because of the fear that if they may encounter each other, competition might ensue and will always end in blood. This boundary is crossed, however, for the worshippers of Reality and worshippers of Life. A huge portion of the worshippers of Reality are unaware of the existence of Vol-jan because he came from the left side of the Verse. To avoid conflict, those worshippers of Reality who were informed of Vol-jan kept the secret from coming out just to preserve this peace and unity with the worshippers of Life who are directly involved with Vol-jan’s sealing. However, in case a religion fails to keep peace among their community, the other religions will be interfering as well… specially the followers of the religion from where Vol-jan came from… Veraidealis. The central religion of this Main Verse is Veraidealis. They worship the Supreme Beings of Fantasy, Reality, Time, and Space. The Supreme Being of Fantasy is known more as the God of Sleep with an inverted crown floating over his head. The Supreme Being of Reality is famously known as the Lady of the Morning who shines like the sunrise. The two of them are fraternal twins. The Supreme Being of Time aka the Generous Queen is credited for giving long life to the mortals of this universe. Her identical twin, the Supreme Being of Space aka the Great Beyond is credited for the continuous expansion of all of the universes in the Verse. The Verse is divided into four parts: the Base, the Root, the Trunk, and the Branches. The Base is the largest part containing the Sleep Verse of the God of Sleep, the Timeless River of the Generous Queen, and the Boundless Space of the Great Beyond. The Root of Origin is the meeting place of the eleven Supreme Beings and the beginning of everything. The Trunk symbolizes the length of time that has passed and the expansion of space provided for countless of universes or the multiverse out there. The Branches are the multiple realities of the Lady of the Morning. There are three Main Branches: the Main Verse at the center, the Right side Verse, and the Left side Verse. What made the people think of our protagonist, Gene Amano, weird? Gene Amano was born in a family who worship the Eastern religion, Namity. They believe in the Supreme Beings of Creation, Destruction, and Destiny. As a child, Gene is actually gifted in seeing and hearing things that others cannot. Thus, people think he is mad. In truth, having that kind of gift also scared him a lot as well. He chooses to ignore in order to try to blend in with the society, however, his concentration has been disturbed and he, in the end, thinks that he has mental problems. Of course, that time, he had no idea that people with special abilities truly exist… even in a world full of hoaxes and falsities. However, experiencing and being given the opportunity to be as weird as the others firsthand made him accept the truth… the truth that in a world full of lies, denials, and deception, there are hidden worlds full of truth. *(0^0)**(0^0)**(0^0)*
