CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE
GRAYSON
Kenzie’s face is priceless. She’s completely stunned, and I’m so glad I was able to surprise her with this moment.
“Will you marry me?” I ask, just loud enough for her to hear as the entire audience watches.
“Oh my God, yes,” she squeals, and I immediately slip the ring on her finger. As I stand, she wraps her arms around me, and we kiss like we’re the only two people on earth. I slide my tongue between her lips, unable to hold back. Happiness soars through me, knowing I’ll get to spend the rest of my life with the woman of my dreams.
The kids give some awws and ewws, and we eventually pull away when we hear Knox yell, “Get a room!” Then I see Hadleigh smacking his chest and shushing him, which causes me to laugh.
