The day goes by quickly at the office. I have gotten to meet Laura, the woman Frank said is his mistress. She is actually his office assistant, a middle aged woman who probably has kids as old as Frank.
After work, Frank takes me to one of the restaurants he owns and asks me to order anything I want and eat as much as I can because we are not going to have dinner at home. When I ask him why we won't have dinner at home, he said his mother has visited again and he knows we are not the best of friends. It is better that we avoid each other.
I am grateful that he understands the situation. His mother just hates me and looks down on me.
