LEAH’S POV
PLUS ONE HUNDRED MERIT POINTS: LEAH BELLMOORE
CURRENT BALANCE: 1,100 MERIT POINTS
Asher’s jaw snaps tight. "Instructor! Are you rewarding her for describing poison tactics? That goes against standard pack engagement codes!"
"Standard pack engagement codes are written by Alphas who have thirty thousand soldiers behind them, Lord Asher," Selene counters coldly. "In the wild, there are no codes. There is only the survivor and the corpse. Leah Bellmoore has demonstrated superior regional knowledge and strategic pragmatism. Her merit points stand."
I feel a strange, cold rush bloom in my chest.
One hundred bonus points on the very first day. I am now sitting at the top of the S-Class merit board, above Asher, above Willow, and above every proud high-ranking wolf in this room.
