Chapter 6 Jaded

"Goddamit!", I fumed. This little incident is hurting my ego more than my arm that hit the bed frame.
"Sir! Jesus! Do you need...here let me help you". Abby hurried to my side.
"No, don't touch me! I can help myself!" I snapped in fury.
"But sir---" I cut her off.
"I can do this! Just let me be!" I lost my temper. I felt for the walker and helped myself to get up. I huffed as the frustration started to set in. I still need to do a lot of physical therapy to get my injured legs to be strong again.
I made my way to the bathroom. After the embarrassing mishap, I composed myself before I made my way out the bathroom.
I heard Abby giving instructions to the tech people when I got back. Suddenly, I felt so exhausted from the two-hour-long meeting. I need to rest
