Sawyer stretched his arm across the back of the booth and forced himself to think about water heaters. He’d spent the last few hours helping Gage yank out an old one and replace it with a new one. He had to acknowledge he wasn’t quite as steady on his leg as he liked to be, but he’d been able to add another pair of hands. Thinking about the details of properly getting the plumbing set was only marginally effective at quelling the l**t surging through him.
