I can still remember Zaydan's telepathy clearly. His panicked voice when he smelled half-blood and his power that he never used suddenly made him very surprised. Considering that this half-vampire creature is very hated by pure bloods. I immediately approached Zaydan, who was in the hallway of our faculty. It means that the half-vampire has been near all of us. Damn, is he also included in Mark's group this time? Or, worse, would he bring a new catastrophe to all of us? When I managed to meet Zaydan, I could see that he was in a daze. "What happened?" I asked. "Jasper. I meant it when I said I could smell half-blood around here. However, when I looked again, I couldn't find it at all," Zaydan said. I raised my eleven eyebrows; it was unusual for Zaydan to be like this. His power couldn't lie, but how could that creature disappear so quickly? Even the distance from the campus garden to the hallway was less than two minutes if I used my vampire speed. "Are you sure, Zaydan?" I asked. "Of course! You think I'm lying? That's impossible!" he snapped. I knew it was impossible. So, how could the creature just disappear now? "Zaydan, explain to me. How did you feel when you had that feeling?" I asked. "I was looking, Rosalie. Relax; I didn't keep looking at it. It was just weird, because he was chatting with someone I didn't even know. As I passed the two of them and entered the next hallway, I immediately felt that disgusting feeling. I immediately looked for her, but there wasn't a second after that. The feeling and smell were gone," Zaydan explained. One second, one second later? How could that happen? It was all too fast. Even for someone escaping over a considerable distance. We have repeated this five times on this campus together, but this is the first time we have detected half-blood. However, for some reason, I became curious. Who was talking to Rosalie? Moreover, Zaydan didn't know, even though he was the second smartest student after Rosalie. He was very popular among the lecturers and students. There was no one who didn't know Zaydan; even I myself seemed to be inferior to his popularity. "Zaydan, do you know where Rosalie is?" I asked. Seeing Zaydan scowl made me reflexively swear and immediately look for him. Although my guess was always right, he was in the library with Mary. I wondered, did he have no other friends besides Mary? I don't know why Rosalie is so loyal to her. "Rosalie," I said. As she looked at me with her trademark smile, the first thing I felt was sadness. The thought of not wanting to leave her made me feel so miserable. I didn't want to leave her; I didn't want to forget her anymore. I don't want to see her from a distance anymore. Is it wrong if I want to keep it all? Why is the universe so ridiculous to me? Why do they seem to be laughing at my misery? My daydream was interrupted when Rosalie arrived in front of me with her cute outfit. Not forgetting Mary beside her; really, that child seems to match Mr. Kyle. I'm not lying; after all, the two of them are close to each other. "I want to take you for a walk," I said as I took her hand. Without caring about Mary, I led her away to one of my favorite places. "Where are we going that we have to take a car?" asked Rosalie. "A secret, I know a good place for a date," I said confidently. Unlike a regular night market, this one was a night market that was open every night. It's just a secluded place, but it's full of all kinds of snacks and games that are practically rare. Rosalie might not know, but I hoped she would be interested. "You'll definitely like the place," I said. *** Okay, I regret bringing Rosalie to this place. Who would have thought that she would like it so much that she would forget I brought her here? We visited one of the antique bookstores that caught her interest. Who would have thought that she would be comfortable there with a stack of dusty brown-bound books? It was the same when I first came here with Elle. Why do they both have to have the same hobby? "Rosalie, do you want to stay here all day?" I asked. I think my expression looks really annoyed now. It made Rosalie laugh immediately, and she brought some books she had chosen to the cashier to buy. Afterwards, we went back to walking around and exploring some amazing culinary delights. We even played some old-fashioned games, and of course I won. "Cheater, you've lived for more than five centuries. I haven't even reached 21 years yet," said Rosalie. Suddenly, I laughed during the next game. I taught her how to play properly so that she could win and get the prize. When she won, I could see Rosalie's face light up. She looked at me with a sparkling gaze. She was so happy, I thought. Somehow, Rosalie's happiness seemed to rub off on me. "You look very happy. How old is your marriage?" asked one of the vendors manning the game stand we had just tried. "We're not married yet," said Rosalie. "Will be, to be more precise. We're getting married soon," I said. Rosalie looked at me with an incredulous look. Why? Wouldn't she think I'd say that? Or just couldn't believe that we would be united? "I hope you can do it soon," she said as she handed me a bracelet with a gold crescent moon pendant. "I hope so too," I said as I grasped Rosalie's hand tightly. After that, neither of us made a sound. Was it possible that Rosalie didn't want to marry me? If she really didn't want to be a vampire, Then I will protect her for the rest of her life. "Are you sure you want to marry me, Jasper? I mean, I'm human," Rosalie said. "Why not? I'll make you happy, even if you're still human," said Rosalie. "What about your family? Isn't your race against me being-" "Rosalie, listen to me. I can get away from them if I want to. Why are you so hung up on them? If you're willing to become a vampire, we can live together in a hidden land. Hide from them," I said. "But are you happy?" asked Rosalie.
