Chapter 3

The incident at the party was the beginning, Adrianna could guess that. And her guess was completely right, because after that very embarrassing night for Adrianna, Theodoric became more and more irritating in her life.

The slightest mistake that Adrianna accidentally made would make Theodoric scold her to the fullest. It had been almost two weeks, and Adrianna was starting to get used to Theodoric's uncontrollable anger.

"It seems that you can't meet Mr. Theodoric today. He's in a bad mood."

Of all the maids who disliked Adrianna's presence, only Gwen spoke to her humanely. The middle-aged woman never shouted at Adrianna, or deliberately poured hot water on Adrianna like the other maids did to her.

"But I need to talk to him, Gwen." Adrianna argued stubbornly.

"You are very stubborn. Be prepared to face Mr. Theodoric's anger then." Gwen could only surrender.

Adrianna laughed a little and winked at Gwen. "Aren't I used to it?"

Initially Adrianna was quite optimistic about Theodoric's anger that day. After all, she was used to seeing Theodoric angry with her every day, even always. However, Adrianna did not expect that Theodoric's anger that day was much more dangerous.

Theodoric looked very angry as if he would destroy anything that ruined his mood, including Adrianna.

"Why are you bothering me?" Theodoric asked in his cold tone.

"I want to ask permission, sir," Adrianna answered after all the courage was gathered in her sentence. "I have to see Beatrice today, and I want to ask permission not to work..."

"You have no right to ask it," Theodoric interrupted which immediately made Adrianna silent.

Adrianna's heartbeat grew louder when she saw Theodoric stand up from his seat. They were in Theodoric's main room after he told Adrianna to meet him there.

"Not today," Theodoric hissed next to Adrianna's ear.

Theodoric almost walked past Adrianna when she suddenly pulled his hand. The two of them were silent for a few moments. Adrianna looked like a frightened kitten, while Theodoric stared at her as if he had found prey that made him bare his fangs.

"What do you want?"

"I have to accompany Beatrice. She needs me," Adrianna said pleadingly. "Please, Theo."

Adrianna's last words made Theodoric's blood flow very fast. So fast, Theodoric could feel his entire body hot with anger that came from nowhere. What was clear was that Theodoric knew that the way Adrianna called his nickname caused a series of pains that turned into anger to gather inside him.

"Theo?" Theodoric approached Adrianna and cornered her against the wall of his room. "What makes you think that you can call me so rudely, Adrianna?"

"Please, Theo..."

Adrianna's words turned into small winces as Theodoric gripped her cheeks very hard. Adrianna could feel Theodoric's nails digging into her facial skin, just like Theodoric did to her a few days ago.

"Don't you ever dare say my name with your dirty mouth, Adrianna. You are my maid, and you should not be rude to me,” Theodoric warned as he pushed Adrianna’s body so that her back hit the hard wooden table.

Adrianna winced in pain, but it seemed like Theodoric didn’t care. Theodoric stared straight at Adrianna who was currently kneeling on the floor while looking down, holding her back which was in pain.

“Don’t cross your line, Adrianna Harper. You are no longer the Honorary Miss of the Harper Family like you were a dozen years ago.”

Adrianna cried that night. Her mind was really confused because she thought about her beloved little sister having to take care of everything alone in the hospital, while she had to be trapped in Theodoric’s luxurious mansion.

After the incident of asking for permission which ended up making her back bruised, Adrianna languished in her simple room. She had finished all her housework, and now Adrianna was just lying on her bed in a huff.

In her confusion, Adrianna found a way to get out of Theodoric’s mansion and ran to the hospital to accompany Beatrice. Her gaze wandered around, and when Adrianna saw that there were no guards outside, Adrianna immediately fled from Theodoric's house.

Adrianna managed to arrive at the hospital to accompany her younger sister who was undergoing surgery. After trying her best to find public transportation in the middle of the forest surrounding Theodoric's luxurious mansion, she finally managed to arrive at the hospital safely.

However, Adrianna's relief was short-lived. Because when Adrianna was about to enter her younger sister's room, Theodoric was already waiting for her with both hands in his pockets and a look that seemed ready to kill Adrianna right then and there.

"You think I won't find out that my little w***e ran away?" Theodoric spoke in a low voice but was able to make Adrianna tremble with fear.

"Please allow me to meet my sister for a moment. After that, you are free to do whatever you want to me," said Adrianna.

Theodoric smiled sarcastically when he heard Adrianna's words. His anger was really being toyed with today. After the arrival of his ex-lover to his mansion, now Adrianna also made him even angrier because she dared to run away from his mansion.

"Just five minutes." Theodoric finally gave Adrianna what she wanted. "And after that, you are completely mine."

Adrianna nodded quickly and immediately passed Theodoric and entered her sister's room. Adrianna didn't waste a single second when she met Beatrice who was still lying weakly waiting for the surgery schedule.

Meanwhile, Theodoric waited impatiently.

"Do you know what makes me the most angry?"

Adrianna knew that this was the hell that Theodoric had promised her. He stood proudly in front of Adrianna who was almost crying after her hand was forcibly dragged from the front yard to Theodoric's room which was very far away.

"You made me feel that I didn't deserve respect, just like what your family did to me a dozen years ago. I really hate that," said Theodoric, his steps getting closer to Adrianna.

"Forgive me, sir. I didn't mean to defy you," replied Adrianna with all her courage gathered into one.

"I'm can to do anything, hm?" Theodoric grabbed Adrianna's chin with his fingers. "I'm can to do whatever I want."

Without warning, Theodoric's lips landed perfectly on Adrianna's pink lips. Only Theodoric knew how much he tried to hold back his urge to kiss Adrianna every time he saw her talking. And this time, Theodoric did what his mind always whispered.

The kiss initially felt like a force that made Adrianna rebel. Theodoric's lips played nimbly on hers, demanding a response from Adrianna who was just frozen still while clenching her hands tightly.

Meanwhile, Theodoric could no longer hold himself back. His hands that were originally in his pants pockets, now moved skillfully to the back of Adrianna's neck. Every time his kiss got deeper, Theodoric would push Adrianna's neck so that she couldn't escape from his lips.

"I will do whatever I want to you," Theodoric said breathlessly. "I promise I will never stop, Adrianna."

And after Theodoric said that sentence, his strong hands reached for Adrianna's breasts that were sticking out from behind the oversized shirt she was wearing. Theodoric squeezed them gently, creating a low-pitched moan escaping Adrianna's plump lips. When the moan sounded louder, Theodoric smiled in satisfaction.

“You’re still my little b***h,” Theodoric said next to Adrianna’s ear in a low, intoxicating voice.

“Please don’t do that,” Adrianna moaned as Theodoric’s hands touched her lower body area.

“You gave me your body, Adrianna,” Theodoric replied as he played Adrianna’s body more aggressively, which was too beautiful for him to miss.

Every touch of Theodoric gave a thrilling sensation that made Adrianna squirm. When those long fingers played in her sensitive area, Adrianna knew that she couldn’t fight back at all.

Theodoric didn’t linger with his game, because when he saw Adrianna’s face looking satisfied with what he was doing, Theodoric stopped to take off his clothes. The man didn’t want to make Adrianna satisfied, not even a little bit.

Then without warning, Theodoric just shot straight through Adrianna’s body that was ready for him to enter. His hips moved up and down at a fast tempo, making Adrianna moan loudly because she felt the sensation of pain and pleasure that she had never felt before.

“Wow. My little w***e is still a virgin.”
