HUGO'S POV
I got back to the estate early, even though I only slept for three hours. It was enough to give my body some rest.
When I went down to the first floor, I headed straight to the kitchen and found my friends eating breakfast, so I joined them. The housekeeper handed me a cup of coffee, and even though it was still hot, I drank it right away.
"Hugo, I'm going to the market, and I'll take Cannor with me because we plan to stop by the fishpond to catch fresh fish for your lunch," my housekeeper said to us. I nodded immediately and started eating as she left the kitchen.
"How was your girl last night? You seemed to have enjoyed yourself since you came home in the morning," Calix said to me, making me look at him while I continued eating breakfast.
