  The room was quiet except for the soft ticking of the clock on the wall.   I sat on the small sofa in Logan's study, my fingers nervously twisting together. Logan stood near the tall window, his arms crossed as if he had been thinking for a long time.   Then he spoke, his voice low but firm.   "Haley," he said. "I think we should get married."
