Then a guy they both recognized stumbled drunkenly onto the roof and said Slurring his words, "Grregss baackkk"
There stood an overweight man, He had a goatee and brown hair. He stood at 6'0, he was visibly drunk. The shirt of his senior uniform was half tucked in, he stumbled over to Ren and Rikka, sat down, and asked,
"Ssoo whhat's *hic* happeninng?"
Rikka giggled before saying, "Not much, but you look like you had a fun time~!"
Greg nodded. Greg then tilted his trucker hat that said, 'I Heart-' You couldn't see everything on it. He then drank from a cup he was holding,
"Soo didd *hic* youu guyss heearr abouuutt thee maaggicc *hic* thingyyy?"
Greg slurred his words quite a bit saying that. Rikka and Ren exchanged glances and then
Ren replied, "Oh yeah we did"
Then Greg said, "III gooot maggiccc, *hic* I’mm awsommme riiighhht?" He then pulled out a wand and stuck it in his mouth like a cigarette then said, "Shottt guunns arree *hic* coolll"
Ren and Rikka just looked at each other and laughed. All three of them then headed to the restaurant that Ren owned. Rikka looked up at the sign and said, "This place is awesome" Greg just took his wand out of his mouth and waved it and said
"Shott guunn *hic* noisses" A shotgun then appeared in his hands and he showed it wasn't loaded. He then shot a sign.
"H-how did y-you-" Rikka stuttered.
Greg just smiled and said "maaagicc," which made Ren then burst out laughing.
They entered the cafe. Greg went and sat down while Rikka and Ren went into the back of Violet Cafe.
Then Rikka chirped, “Hello Nishi~”
Nishiko was 5’6, Blond silk hair.
Nishiko’s eyes instantly lit up when she saw Rikka, She then hugged Rikka.
"I missed you so much!" Nishiko screeched while hugging Rikka so tight she could hardly breathe.
Rikka then wiggled out of Nishiko's grip.
"Alright, Nishi I need to work, See you soon~" Rikka gave Nishiko a peck on the cheek before running off to get her uniform on.
Rikka came out of the back wearing the standard uniform, Looks like a typical maid outfit.
“Alright, I’ll go to that half of the cafe, you do this half” Ren mumbled to Rikka before skipping off.
Rikka walked up to the first table and stopped.
“Hello! I’ll be your waitress today. Can I start you off with drinks?” Rikka chirped at the customers.
“I’ll get a Chocolate Milkshake please miss!” Squeaked a child that looked about 6.
She had double braids in her caramel brown hair. Blue eyes and a face covered in freckles.
“I’ll have a glass of milk-” A teen around Rikka’s age stuttered, wide-eyed. He was visibly not ready to speak. Rikka found this adorable.
Caramel shaggy hair, Green eyes with a face covered in freckles as well.
Rikka Noticed everyone looking up at the tv.
Rikka looked up at the tv and seen what everyone was looking at. The news came on. It had a breaking news report... The headline was ‘Escaped Crazed man on the loose. New villain group?’
The Reporter then spoke, “Jax Nightmare has escaped from prison, We think his whereabouts are in the city he used to live, Trauer und Leid.”
Everyone in the restaurant started mumbling about it. Many got up to leave. The guy that Rikka was taking his order handed her a slip of paper before leaving with his family. Rikka was confused but put the paper in her pocket. She then cleaned up a few tables since the cafe was closing due to the news.
Rikka went into the back and changed into her normal clothing. She then found Nishiko and they walked hand in hand to Rikka’s house with Ren and Greg.
“Alright, Ima go make snacks!” Rikka chirped as soon as they got into the house.
Rikka started getting different snacks like popcorn, candy, and so on. But then she heard Nishiko on the phone.
“You escaped?” Nishiko whispered into her phone.
Rikka could barely make out what the person was saying, “I did, Did you track down my daughter as I asked?”
“Of course! I’d never let you down!” Nishiko was surprised the person asked this.
“Good, She’ll come in handy when her power develops. If I’m right, her abilities will be worth more than mine.” the person said.
“What do you mean?” Nishiko was confused.
“I mean, She will be more powerful than me with the right training. Then I can test my method of how to take powers. That way I’ll have hers” The voice said
“Alright...Can I know the method?” Nishiko had concern in her voice.
“Not Yet, Soon,” The voice said, then it went quiet.
Rikka thought they hung up. She was confused about what she just heard, That voice sounded like her father… And Nish said ‘Nightmare’ That’s Rikka’s father’s last name… Could Nishiko be working with Jax? Even though she knows how much Rikka hates Jax?
Rikka pulled the paper the guy at Violet Cafe handed her. She looked at it. It appeared to be a phone number with a note. “Just wanted to be friends c: “
