I headed straight to the office, and Tyler informed me about the upcoming meeting with the Red Hawks Group. They were our biggest rivals until now, and although I really admire their work ethic, I hate their overbearing alpha-twin CEOs.
“I was waiting for Aria, but she is absent on her first day. I had really high hopes for her, but I guess she took this job for granted.” Tyler mumbled in a low voice, but I clearly heard it. My grip tightened on the file, and I took a deep breath to calm myself down. I didn’t realize when this girl penetrated this deeply into my lips.
“She will be absent for a few days. She is… ummm… injured severely,” I informed her in a hesitant tone because I had never witnessed an awkward moment like this before.
