(Aria POV)
After the interview, I came back to Lucy’s house. I didn’t want to come back yet, but I had no place to go, so I had to return. But I decided in my heart that I will not stay here for long.
“Let’s prepare something to eat,” I mumbled when my stomach growled in protest. I got up and entered the kitchen. Nothing was present in the kitchen, so I decided to make sweet and sour soup when I heard a noise outside the house.
“Is there anyone present in this house?” I quickly walked towards the door where an injured man was present.
“Oh my God! Who are you, and what happened to you?” I quickly checked his pulse, and it was stable. I looked at his blood-covered face and I gasped in shock.
“F-father! Y-you are alive?” I asked, and he looked at me like he was angry at me.
