“You don’t sound happy about it.” Lauren stated and I nodded my head agreeing. Sean grinded his teeth and sighed. Why is he so mad? He just found a mate. This should be the most enjoyable part of his life.
“Umm, Sean and I are going to walk home. I’ll see you at your house Lauren.” I said pulling on Sean’s arm as Lauren nodded. I towed Sean through the forest all the way to the clearing silently. I don’t know why I’m going here exactly but it seemed like the best place to talk to him so I just followed my instincts.
