The boys went out of the mansion and headed towards the Moritz villa. After twenty minutes, they got to the house and got down from the carriage.
The mansion was decent to look at and was much brighter than where the boys lived. Instead of using the front door, the boys went to the back to use the kitchen entrance instead, as they were important figures, and the servants of the mansion didn't question them. The maids continued their work, not noticing the lord's son slip something interesting into the pot that was used to heat up the blood that was going to be used at the party.
As they entered the living room, the sound of laughter could be heard. There were children too, some older and some younger, and they looked like they were having a good time. The pair walked without talking to anyone, but the people around started to notice them, as they didn't need to announce themselves because their presence announced itself.
Soon, the servants entered with glasses of blood for the vampires and pure-blooded vampires. When the drinks were offered to them, both boys refused it. The drinks were served to the majority of the people. Damien sat quietly, waiting for the show to start, while the lord's son busied himself with the people.
Not long after, they heard a scream from one of the girls. Soon, screams came from different directions.
"Cockroach, there are cockroaches in the drinks!" a boy screamed.
"What's this?" Collins asked, not understanding how they got inside in the first place. He'd made sure everything was perfect, as he'd planned this part to show off, but now he was being embarrassed badly.
"Wow, Collins, how pathetic can you be, pranking us like this?" said a girl holding her sister, who was crying as she had drunk the tampered glass of blood before spitting it out. She was scared of bugs and insects, and this stupid fat boy had embarrassed her like this.
The girl held her weeping sister and left the place, not wanting to be there anymore. Soon, everyone started to leave one by one until the place was completely empty. Getting the satisfaction they needed, they walked towards the boy.
"Wow, Collins, way to go, embarrassing yourself and your family." Vale clapped, mocking the boy, who turned beet red.
"Damien, remind me not to attend this kind of party," Vale scoffed as he stared down at the boy, who he was taller than.
"I didn't do it, I..." he turned to look at Damien, who wore a serious expression like he hadn't just ruined someone's party.
"You did this," Collins accused, pointing a finger at Damien.
"Collins, know what you speak. I'm not the cause of your stupidity, and I didn't ask you to embarrass yourself like this. Don't put the blame on me." Damien grinned at the boy.
Both boys walked out of the mansion and got into their carriage before bursting into laughter.
