My eyes flustered open but everything around me was extremely blurry. I could barely see the things around me, but the little I could make out told me that was nowhere inside the mansion. Everything seemed a little white and sky blue. It was almost like…
‘I’m… in a hospital?’ was the first thought that occurred to me. I closed my eyes and reopened them in order to gain more clarity, and my sight was a bit clearer than before, even though everything still seemed a little fuzzy. I tried to lift up my hand but it felt weak and numb… like it no longer belonged to me. I felt paralyzed.
“What’s going… on? I collapsed…” I uttered as I tried to remember what happened before I blacked out and everything returned to me. At this point, my mood turned solemn.
