I drove back home and called for Emery immediately. She came out with a confused expression but it seemed like she was just about to head out. I didn’t care about that though.
“What’s the matter, Silas?” She asked.
“Give me a reason why you fired the servant named Karen.” I apprehended with a stern voice. She fired someone who seemed important to Alora, and now she’s in the hospital because of that. I’m still wondering why I haven’t even thrown this b***h out of the house… ooh, I remember, she’s no different from a servant to me. What right does she have to fire a fellow servant?!
“She irritated me and I fired her. Is there anything wrong with that? She is just a servant after all, no different from a slave. Why should you even care about her?” She questioned but this only
