Emery's POV I was completely shocked by his behavior towards me. He no longer felt like the Silas I knew and his attitude got me blaming myself and asking whether I did the wrong thing by coming home early and by loving him. “Punishment?” I bellowed, both annoyed and confused, “But why, Silas. This isn’t you. Why are you acting strange?” even after asking him that question, I still went ahead and asked again in my mind.
