Gabrielle broke down in my arms. I muttered comforting words into her ear.
"It's okay, you're okay now."
She eventually calmed down and detached from me.
"Thank you very much, Alora. If it wasn't for you, I probably would still be the same, stuck in my own head. Fighting against my instincts and desires was a much higher hassle than I thought. The bigger part of me thinks it's the right thing to do while the smaller part tries everything to make me see things logically."
"I'm glad you're okay. You deserve to be happy too, you're an awesome woman." I smiled at her.
"I'm not in any way awesome. I'm so horrible that even my own family detests me. I even rejected a man, my own mate. Someone whom I'm meant to be with for eternity because there's no other person for me." She mumbled
