[Chicago] "Good morning Mum." Jessie voice was heard immediately she entered into the Howard's mansion. The Howard's mansion is located at the outskirt of Chicago. The Howard's mansion is very popular in the city of Chicago. And this is because Mr Howard is a very close friend to the Mayor of the city. The Howard's mansion was painted in gold and it comprises of various rooms with two big living rooms. It has an outdoor event center where various events are being held. It has a big swimming pool and a garden with varieties of flowers planted in it. "Jessica my baby," Mrs Howard said "How are you doing Ma?" Jessie asked while sitting on the couch "Am fine and you?" "Am okay mum," She replied "How are your parents?" Mrs Howard asked "Very well ma. What about dad?" "He went out not quite long. Valerie is in her room," She replied smiling "Okay Mum." Jessie said as she stood up to go to Valerie's room "Homa!".... "Homa!" Valerie rolled her eyes as the only pest in her life opened the door of her room. "Heey b***h, you won't break this house because of your voice," Val said hitting her friend playfully "f**k you, stupid. Is that how to welcome a guest?" "And who is the guest?" Val asked rolling her eyes "Jessica Brown, herself," Jessie said smiling "Continue deceiving yourself, better find somewhere to seat," "Ovwan rhe se ru-o(Silly)," Jessica said smiling She is just trying in the Urhobo language and she seem interested in learning. "Who is teaching you Urhobo language?" Val asked surprised because her friend seem fluent in it "Your Mum," Jessie answered "Hmm, I have heard you," Val said sadly "Why did you sound like that and why is your face down?" Jessie asked when she noticed her friend's sad tone She did not reply her instead she started crying, which caused Jessica to be more worried. "Val, what happen to you. Why are you crying?" "Going to Nigeria in three weeks time," She dropped the bombshell "What? Why?" Jessie asked Her reaction caused Valerie to smile a little. The more reason why Valerie loves her friend is because she is a real drama queen who always make her smile. "Yeah you heard me right. Mum and Dad wants me to complete my high school education there and to also learn more about African culture," She said "Oh," Jessie said making her mouth in the 'O' form "See your mouth like 'Oh', I don't wish to go, if not for mum and dad that persuade me to go," Val said "I know baby, because you will miss me," Jessie said smiling That brought a wide smile to Val's face and she thanked God for giving her a friend like Jessica. "But on a more serious note, I understand you don't want to go to Nigeria, blah blah blah, but I partially agree with Mum, because the ones she is teaching you here wouldn't match the ones you will learn there since that is what they do everyday. It is much like a practical lesson," Jessie explained better "Now you are sounding just like my Mum," Val said smiling "See you. And besides, she will enrol you in the best school there so as to match your standards. I also heard that guys that attend those schools are f*****g handsome especially the Yoruba tribe boys. And please babe, don't allow them to sugar coat you with their sweet mouth, I heard they are demons, original playboy." By the time Jessica finished her words, both friends were already rolling on the bed laughing. "Seriously, look at the way you spoiled those guys reputation," "But that is what they are, so I have to advise my dear friend to be careful of them and not to fall into their trap," Jessie replied still laughing "Okay boo, but I will miss you," Val said hugging her "And I will miss you more b***h. But why is there Skype, if not to look at your beautiful face, common babe, we still gat to see each other even though we won't be able to feel each other touch," Jessie said while releasing her from the hug "Oh Jessie, what can I practically do without you?" "Nothing babe. So stop drowning in your thoughts and let's make better use of your three weeks remaining to flex around Chicago city," Jessie said smiling "Yayy," Val shouted jumping on the bed like a baby "That is the spirit girl." Valerie quickly put on her dress and applied little makeup on her face and both girls left the room and bid Mrs Howard farewell as they left the house. Three Weeks Later The long awaited day have arrive, the day Valerie will travel to Nigeria. Her flight is scheduled for 12pm USA time. Jessica was around to help her with her luggages. "Girls," Mr Howard voice came through as soon as Valerie's parents enter her room "Please Jessica, can you excuse us for some minutes?" Mrs Howard asked "Okay Mum," Jessie replied as she left the room for the living room "Valerie Princess, you are going to Nigeria, try to be good girl that you are. Not like we do not trust you but baby, don't keep bad company and try to be respectful to your uncle and his wife," Her dad advised "Okay dad, I promise not to disappoint you both," Valerie replied almost sobbing "Okay baby. And also read your books, always remember that competition is everywhere and I trust you on that right?" "Yeah mummy, I will miss you both so much," Valerie said as she allowed the tears to flow freely "We will miss you more Princess," Her parents both chorused as they hug her "Sweetheart, let's leave her to continue with the preparation," Mr Howard said facing his wife "Okay hun," Mrs Howard replied "Mum, please tell Jessie to come back, we still have stuffs to pack," Valerie called out "Okay baby.
