“What the hell was that for?” Blade shouts at his mother while she still hugs me.

“Just don't mess this up with her” she said as she walked out of the room “let’s go everyone” and as she said that everyone walked out of the room and followed down the stairs Blade followed them to see them out and lock up for the night. Sophia was taking Rebecca for the night so Blade could have a break. I went and got in the shower while he was downstairs with everyone. A hot shower always clears my head and makes me feel better. I’m just standing here in the hot water thinking about my decision to marry Blade. Hoping that I have made the right decision. I wonder when he is going to want to get married. I must’ve been very deep into thought because the next thing I know Blade was in the shower with me with his arms wrapped around my waist. 

“What’s bothering you” he asked as he turned me around. I just looked at him and got distracted in his messy black hair and blue eyes. And the more I look the curiouser I get. He has a full sleeve tattoo that also takes up most of his chest on one side and that’s when I see them. All of the scars from I’m guessing knifes and bullets. 

“Do you like what you see?”  He asks with a smirk on his face. I can feel my face start to burn with embarrassment as he picks me up and starts kissing me. Without warning he turns the water off still holding me he walks out of the shower and back into the bedroom gently tossing me onto the bed. He starts crawling up to me leaving a trail of kisses from my belly button all the way up to my lips. And yet again we continue to have the most amazing s*x of my life. Afterward he finds me one of his t shirts to wear and he throws on some sweat pants and lays down next to me. I curl in to him and start tracing all of his scars one by one with my finger. 

“Where did you get this one?” I asked pointing to the longest on his body that goes across his chest in a long diagonal. 

“A knife fight” he responds “don’t worry you should see the other guys” he said in attempt to make me feel better. 

I just roll over on to my other side and take a deep breath. 

“What’s wrong?” He said with a concerned sound in his voice “did I say something?” 

“No, it’s just that..your life is very dangerous and you are a very busy very important man. Are you sure you have time to have a wi...I mean marry me”

“I have more than enough time to have a wife. I’m not taking this lightly. I know we just met and I’ve already caused you hurt once. But I promise I am going to try my best to be the best husband. And I’m sure you wish you knew me better first. But I know all I need to about you to make me sure that this is what I want.” He said as he tucked my hair behind my ear and kissed my forehead “get some sleep” he says as he turns the lamp off. 

*Blades POV*

When she almost asked if I had time for a while and then stopped herself I realized that she was worried that I wouldn’t make her a priority. I might not know her well yet but my plan is to get to know her and do my best to be the husband that she deserves. So while she sleeps I slowly get out of bed and get dressed and leave the house. I lock the door behind me and make sure that my men know that she is in there and to be alert. I head straight to town calling the best jeweler around on my way and have him meet me. I get there and I have the most spectacular diamond ring made and I tuck it in my pocket and head home. Once I get home I slip it on her finger and get back into bed and go to sleep. 

*Rains POV* 

Waking up I realize that the room is still very dark. I look around and Blade is gone. I look to the windows and he has all of the curtains shut making it dark but when I look at the time it’s already after 10. So I jump up and put on a pair of shorts. They barely cover my butt and are tight fitting but with nobody else being here I figured it would be ok. I throw on a bra and a tank top and head down the stairs to the kitchen. Once in the kitchen I start a pot of coffee and grab the milk from the fridge. And that’s when I heard a strange mans voice  

“Damn” he said. “Who are you sweetheart?” He says moving closer to me. 

“Um..who are you?” I say backing away the closer he gets. 

“I’m Davis we haven’t met yet. I’m part of Blades security. You must be Aleas friend” he said as he stands leaning against the sink. Shortly after that I see James and Tyler walk in and I quietly walk over to them and stand slightly behind them. 

“What’s wrong Rain?” James asked while looking at Davis  

“Rain, I like that” Davis says as he starts walking back across the room  

“Blade” James yells as Davis walks across the room. Blade runs into the room with Sophia and Alea close behind. The first this he notices is me standing behind James and he looks straight at James. 

“Davis here was just meeting Rain” James said as Blade walked closer 

“Is that so?” Blade asked Davis while walking closer to him 

“I sure was. What does it have to do with you?” He asked Blade as he winked at me

“I suggest that you not look at her like that again” Blade said as he pulled the knife out of its small holster on this thigh.

“And why would that be?” He asked looking at me “she doesn’t seem to mind” he says as he winks at me again.

In a rage Blade puts the knife straight through his shoulder and pulls it back out and starts punching him anywhere that he can. Everyone was now shouting for Blade to stop but nobody approaches as if they are all scared of what he will do. I take off running towards him I hear James say “Rain don't do that you’ll get hurt” And Sophia said “Don’t do it, he is to mad” but i didn’t listen to either of them. I couldn’t set there as he beat someone to death over a few Pervy comments. The man didn’t even know who I was. So I get right behind Blade and he is moving so much so in one quick movement I snake my arms around his back and just hug him. And I quietly say “please stop” and he did. He just stood there, I could slowly start to feel his body relax as he looked at Davis and said “get out” and with that he runs out and Blade spins around and just hugs me. 

“What the hell was that” Alea asked and when I looked over everyone was starring at us in disbelief as I just continued my hug with my head on his chest. 

“Well I was beating the s**t o...”Blade said as Alea cut him off just as curious as everyone else “no I mean the whole calming down thing. It always takes you hours to calm down when you get mad. You never settle like that.” She said starring straight at me and that’s when Sophia walked over and took my hand looking at it closely and it wasn’t until this moment that I saw the most beautiful diamond ring on my finger and I looked up at Blade and he just whispers “surprise” and that’s when I realized that he might not know everything about me but he was serious when he said he was going to try his hardest. So I stood on my toes and kissed his cheek, walked over and poured my coffee and headed back upstairs.
