Episode 5

I cant believe I have to sit through class with him wing he’s sitting right behind me staring daggers at me. I mean what the hell is his problem? Ugh I swear if I didn’t better i would think some one is slowing down time just to make me suffer . Finally after what felt like the longest hour of my life the bell finally rang . Lila looked at me and said ,” Hey lets go as i can see you have a lot to feel me in on .” Laughing and glancing back at Stone who was still seated at his seat, with a smirk . Oh goddess i just want this day to end .

As we walk out the class there is Everest and Cameron waiting on us. Lila has the biggest cheesiest smile i have ever seen on her . “ Isn’t he absolutely handsome , the most handsomest ever isn’t he Kati?” I just laughed and from the look she gave me I don’t think she thought i was very . I just laughed and rolled my eyes at her. Everest grabbed her and hugged her telling her how much he missed her , kissing her like he really hadn’t seen her in a week or more.

“ umm excuse me can we at least get lunch and eat it before you two make me lose it all over you . I’m starving .” I say to them as Im wrapping my arms around my stomach pretending to gag . Cameron starts laughing and says,” I know im starving to and your already making us want to throw up. Come mates lets go some of us want to eat real food and not watch you two eat each others faces . “ To which him and I started laughing even more . Everest and Lila both looked at us with bright red faces and didn’t seem to find us funny , which made it all the more funnier to Cameron and I .

We headed in to the cafeteria which was always loud and noisy . The smell of food rushing into our noses as soon as we walked in making us even more hungry and making our stomachs growl . Lila grabbed her stomach and looked at Everest with embarrassment because her stomached growled the loudest . I just giggled . It’s so so strange to see the confident Lila I know that never gets embarrassed in front of anyone or because of anyone , turn red as a tomato in front this person she just met. The mate bond truly is something. They seem like they have known each other forever . Is that how it is? Is this what the mate bond does ? I don’t know but im starving and we need to hurry up and get in line before all the goof food is gone. Most schools have horrible food but not ours. They actually have pretty decent food. Like today for lunch we have a choice between meatloaf , yes I know meatloaf but the cooks here at the school really aren’t that bad , or country fried chicken . With the said choices being salad , mashed potatoes , corn or some green beans. And of course rolls for whatever you choose.

Lila and Everest and Cameron are all in front of me choosing what they want smiling at the same old cafeteria ladies that have been there so long i think they opened the school . There all sweet older ladies , never say much to the students . The students don’t really say much to them . So i guess it mutual . I picked my meatloaf and gravy and followed behind them to our favorite table . As i was walking i felt some one bump into me and made me drop my tray of food . It flew every where in clouding all over me and fell to the ground with a loud clank . Everyone seen it and was laughing , Natasha with an evil smirk on her face looked at me and said , “ oh my god what’s wrong with you cant you watch where your going ?”

“ What the hell Natasha you did that on purpose what’s your problem ?” I yelled at her

Lila came running over with her lunch tray still in her hands and got right in Natasha’s face , “ What the f**k do you think your doing Natasha ? You think your funny ? “ Lila yelled in her face

“ She bumped into me . She’s the one that isn’t watching where she’s going maybe you need to teach your dog how to walk.” Natasha said giggling and looking at her minions to laugh to . That only pissed Lila off even more . So Lila looked at me and winked . And that was her sign for watch this. “ You think your cute huh Natasha ??”Lila asked her but didn’t actually care if she responded nor did she give her time to . When Lila took her lunch tray and poured it all over Natashas head and mashed potatoes , gravy , salad and ranch dressing where all over her . Pouring slowly over her hair and face slowly making its way all the way down her entire body. Causing all the cafeteria to gasp ,

“ How cute do you feel now huh Natasha .?” Lila asked her sarcastically . The whole cafeteria roared in laughter . Natasha was screaming and screaming at her friends to help her.

Lila grabbed me and helped me clean the mess that got on my pants . I told her thank you and she said what are you thanking me for your my best friend and no one messes with you . It’s us or nothing remember .

“ Now what im starving still and that b***h made me waste m lunch .” Lila said all mad .

“ wow mate your a bad ass . I didn’t think i would get a beautiful bad ass for a mate this just keeps getting better and better .” Everest said as he was grabbing Lila kissing her . “ Ewww gross is this what you guys are going to be doing all the time ? Using any excuse to make out whenever , wherever??” , Cameron said with a disgusted look on his face

I couldn’t help but laugh because that’s what i was kind of thinking too and not to.

“ your just jealous you haven’t found your mate . And your to ugly to have anyone else love that mug of yours.” Everest said to cameron..

Cameron’s looked as he was shocked to hear Everest say that to him and says ,” I am not ugly i have girls falling all over me all the time . I extremely good looking . “ while straightening his shirt and smoothing his hair and goes and sits down at the table. Everest rolling with laughter. Everest tells us how Cameron is extremely vain and hates to be told he’s ugly but that him and Stone cant help but poke fun at him and tell him he’s ugly just it get him mad. They love making him mad .Hmmm Stone doesn’t seem to even know what a smile is , like he’s just so serious all the time and doesn’t know how to have fun. So to hear him say he has a sense of humor is just strange to me. that’s not the impression I’ve gotten of him so far. But that could be to that he just doesn’t like me for whatever reason and why would he waste his energy on some wolfless mutt.

We walked to the table to sit down while the Dane brothers ate and of course Everest shared his lunch with LIla while i was over hr starving . No but i love that lila has someone that will share her lunch with her . Someone that will always be there to take care of her , Someone that will love her . As im watching Lila and Everest I feel like if someone is staring at me and i look around to see who it is but i see no one. I shake it off , even though I could swear i feel it . I don’t know maybe its just me knowing schools almost over and i have to go back to the pack house where im really treated like nothing . At least here at school I don’t get harassed as much . Cameron and I started talking about what kind of things we both liked how it was at his old school and what they use to do for fun when they weren’t training to be the betas. I didn’t really do much of the talking only because im basically the loser of my entire pack and get tried as such. He didn’t seem to notice that I didn’t really say much . He didn’t seem to mind to do all the talking . He seemed happy talking about himself . Lila and Everest were talking and laughing and doing a whole lot of flirting . They finished there lunch and decided to head out as lunch would be over soon. When we got up i had the feeling of being watched but again didn’t see anyone that seemed to be to interested in me just like always. Camron and i have the same period next period he said its his worst subject. English has always been easy for me i love to read , so writing didn’t come so hard for me . He said maybe if he starts failing then maybe i can tutor him . I just smiled and nodded . The bell rang and we headed to class . It went by pretty fast and the rest of the day didn’t got much differently then the first half did. Natasha was looking at me as if she could strangle me . But I didn’t care she would only be dong me a favor if she did kill me anyway . No one would care not even my parents. They probably wouldn’t even give me a proper burial . Lila and walked to the school parking lot where Everest , cameron and Stone were waiting by there car . Everest and Cameron were waiting by the back of the car and Stone was waiting by the drivers door . Everest went right up to Lila and hugged her like he hasn’t seen her in months when its only been an hour . Plus the just met and found out there were mates . Can it really be this crazy? Too bad ill never know . Everest and Lila made plane to call each other later . There both going tell there families as soon as they get home that they found there mates . Then they will making arrangements for there parents to meet. They said there good byes . cameron said bye to me and he was glad he met some friends. and that he’s sure him and Lila will be best friends . Everest growled and told him he better back off . Cameron was dying laughing . I was laughing to . “ aww come on man you know im just joking .” He tells Everest through his laughter . Everest doesn’t think he’s funny at all. cameron winks at me and whispers to me or am i ? “ i heard that fucker “ Everest yells at Cameron as Cameron’s getting into the car. I look over and see Stone leaning on the car with staring at me . Im not gonna lie he is so gorgeous and standing next to that sexy sports car makes him look even sexier . wait what am i saying , i need to get those thoughts out my head . It would never happen . No one like him would ever want someone like me . We said our good byes and got in to Lila’s car and pulled out the school parking lot . Heading to the horrible people and the horrible place i call home .
