As we were making our way to the gym to line up and find out who our P.E teacher will be, I couldn’t stop thinking about how Stone was looking at me . I mean it could seem creepy , the way he was looking at me was kind of weird , but it was more then that. Or at least I’m hoping it’s more the that anyways . I mean who wouldn’t want to be with someone like him . He’s gorgeous and mysterious . Oh who am I kidding I would never have a guy like that . It’s not in the cards for me . The goddess didn’t even bless me with a wolf let alone a mate.

“Hello , earth to Kati . Hello “ , lila says waving her hands in my face . Looking at me like there’s something wrong with me .

I snap out of not even realizing i was daydreaming in front of everyone.goddess i hope no one seen that . How embarrassing .

“ oh sorry “ i say laughing and grabbed her hands putting the down to her side looking around making sure no one seen . Lila just laughs and says , “umm where were you right now , aren’t I the one that just found her mate?” Lila says jokingly looking at me with one eyebrow arched .

I just look at her and pretend I don’t know what she’s talking about and act like it never happened . She cant know that i was even thinking about Stone or she would never leave it alone . Especially since she’s mated to his nephew and future beta .

The teacher calls our names Lila and I got the same P.E teacher , so we got to sit next to each other and spend all period together . As soon as we sat in our spots Lila was saying how she cant believe she found her mate how handsome he was . I’m so happy for her and excited for her and how excited she was . I truly am happy for her i just know that i will never have the privilege or luxury of a love like that . Which is why i cant wait to leave here so I don’t have to see all the mates and wolves . Constantly being reminded of something i will never have .

I know Lila is happy and i see it in her eyes , she deserves it all . She has a heart of gold, and is so kind unless someone messes with someone she cares about , then well then , you better run. She can and will destroy anything that hurts her family or friends. She’s a special as they come and very rare . As we’re stretching she’s talking non stop about her mate . I cant help but smile . Somehow , I’m thinking about Stone again and his eyes, his lips , the way he furrowed his perfectly shaped eyebrows . Goddess he’s beautiful. Why cant i stop thinking about him ? What’s wrong with me? I see Lila talking but have no idea what she’s saying as im stuck in my own thoughts .

The teacher blew his whistle we can now walk around the gym or just sit if we want . He told us that tomorrow we will be dressing out so that everyone better have there P.E clothes by tomorrow . Loaners will be available but if you want to do laps or a note from your parent saying they have not purchased them yet . “ then he blew his whistle again and said as u wish . So Lila I went to our spot that we have been sitting at for the last four years of high school . As we sit down she looks at me and says , “ Ok , spill it “ with a serious look on her face meaning she wasn’t dumb and knew something was up . She knows me better then anyone so there’s not much i can hide from her . I try to act like I don’t know what she’s talking about and try to look her as innocent and blank faced as possible. Praying she believes me and lets it go . But noooo not Lila she asks again , ‘ Katrianna i know your lying what going on huh ? Is it one of the other Dane boys ?? ( wiggling her eyebrows at me ) Oh my goddess it is huh ? Which one?? “ she says excitingly and getting pretty loud as she’s badgering me . People are starting to look at us . I grab her to calm her down and tell her to shut up she’s getting loud everyone’s looking . She turn to look at whos looking and yells ,” I don’t care whose looking they better mind their business real fast .” Looking around daring someone to say something . Of course no one does . They just continued doing whatever they were doing .

Lila turns back to me , “ Come on spill.’ She says as i laugh and tell her she’s crazy she’s just reading me wrong because she’s in a haze from finding her mate . I change the subject back to her . She then starts saying that how amazing it would be if i ended up with a Dane too . Thank god the bell rang and we had to go to our next class . I know i will have a mate and i love Lila for believing something that I don’t even believe for my self.

We grabbed our back packs from the locker room and started heading to our next class. When Lila all sudden starts smiling and runs to her mate . I kept on going to our locker so i can grab my book for the next class. I want to avoid Stone as much as possible . No mater what the look meant I know it doesn’t matter the meaning no one ever likes me anyways . I’m used to it and kind of prefer it that way. The less people i get close to the better . Easier to leave when the time comes to finally ditch this place and hopefully fins some where to belong . If not that’s ok too as long as no knows me as the girl without a wolf . A nothing .
